Axe (アックス, Akkusu) is a Disc Frame released by Takara Tomyas part of the Burst System as well as the Superking Layer System. It debuted in Japan with the release of the B-176 Random Booster Vol. 23 on December 26th, 2020.
==Description==
Axe is a wide and triangular Disc Frame with 3 small contact points and a smooth section joining them. While too small to come into contact with the opponent's Layer, Axe's wide shape makes it one of the heavier Disc Frames in the game, which grants high Attack potential when paired with Core Discs such as 7.
==Use in Attack combinations==
Axe can be put to use in the Attack combination /Buster Xcalibur 0/10/00Axe Xtreme/Xtreme'. The weight of Axe bolsters the weight of 0/10/00 which adds to the high Attack potential of Buster Xcalibur and Xtreme/Xtreme' ,granting high amounts of Burst Attack.
==Overall==
Axe, being heavier than Bump, and compatibility with heavy core discs, makes it a key part in many Attack Combinations. While such combinations are outclassed with the release of the heavier Wheel and Discs from the Dynamite Battle Layer Syetm, Axe can be used for related combinations if Wheel/Dynamite Battle Discs are unavailable.
As such, Axe is a not a must have but is still a welcome addition to a bladers’ collection.
