This harder to do for me because of the size. The format isn't limited by a 500x200 border so I have to get creative. But, I think I have to much empty space. Whatever, I still need to work on other GFX other than signatures.

I tried doing backgrounds the other day too. Much harder than it seems.

So much more space to fill while trying to make everything blend together. ><

This is a good start although the background could have more to it.

It's good for a first, and yes Desktop Backgrounds are harder, as they have more space they need to fill, but after you do it for a while, you get used to the size.

Ya, I was kinda got angry at myself for not making it look good and stopped, lol. I couldn't really figure out the space issue. I was thinking that I should have made the background a neutral colour than made a brush layer for each character, each with their own colour. Girl(Anri): red, ect. This background kinda spoils the series if your reading or watching it. It describes what the friends do behind the others backs. The blond kid is the leader of a gang called The yellow scraves BTW. I highly suggest that more people watch Durarara.
My description:
I think you might like this anime. Its real dark and has a huge cast of characters. If I explained it to you I would probably spoil it. Because The episodes and series are formatted in a way that you don't what the hell they're talking about until you see the rest. So your hooked from the beginning. A lot of suprizes, its really funny, and the character makes this series amazing. Basically the whole story is told in different perspectives, from gangs, head-less people(A Dullahan), and high schoolers. Its is an amazing series and the best anime I have seen in my life! I'm just waiting for season 2 to happen, I'm sure it will. It takes place in a region of Tokyo and is very urban type of series. The city feeling adds effect to the darkness, so does the soundtrack.

Yeah, you can see my username being obscured by large amount of icons I have. Background was fun as hell to make for some reason. I like playing around with Paint.NET.

I literally just copy and pasted this off the "Post Your Desktop" thread, so yeah. You can see how it looks like on my background
