Most of you did well, but a few were sketchy, and others lost just because their opponent was better. Since I dont have a computer and I cant make elaborate posts on my phone, I cant post them unless another judge will do so, and since I believe I am the only one with all of the entries, I want to take responsibility of posting them instead of forcing the job on someone else.

However, I will post the stories at some point. They migjt be delayed, but at some point, I will create threads for each of the rounds. I will also allow peer feedback on those threads too.

Plot - 20 points
Great plot. I love how you set up the initial climax of the competition against Adam, then throw in the black-haired boy as an unknown wildcard. Excellent. Good development, solid climax and fitting finish.
Grammar - 18 points
Some minor errors here and there, but overall excellent.
Atmosphere - 20 points
You would be hard pressed to nitpick on the atmosphere in this. Well done.
Character Development - 17 points
I didn't see any specific development, but you could see how the main character had his inner battle, which counts towards this. Hard to develop characters in such a short writing limit, but still done well.
Vocabulary - 20 points
Appropriate vocab, excellent synonym usage for common words, well done.
Total: 95
Really well written, could do with some grammar tweaks, and maybe a bit more character development, but overall really well done.

Simple, but effective plot. Followed the theme of the round well, but lacked depth and captivation.
Grammar - 13 points
A bit too many mistakes for my liking, but still decent.
Atmosphere - 15 points
Good start, but the fear during the attack would need to be emphasized, overall empty atmosphere, development needed.
Character Development - 10 points
Sorry, didn't see much of it, except basic development.
Vocabulary - 17 points
Some great word choices, as well as contextual language.
Total: 66
Had this been longer, it would have scored much higher, it is a great start, keep writing and don't be discouraged!

Not much to say about this. Really good. Some synonyms would really help enhance this, but that would be nitpicking. Plot wise, it's a bit... Cliche and cheesy, but it works. Love the atmosphere and character development. Pimp dad sweg.

A bit cliche, but still pretty effective. While a bit far-fetched, the plot works nonetheless.
Grammar - 10 points
Yikes. Dialogue needs to be re-worked with proper grammar. Other than that, you have the basic grammar rules set out, try to polish them.
Atmosphere - 17 points
It isn't the greatest ever, nor the worst. It's a solid atmosphere that grows and changes with the plot.
Character Development - 10 points
Too cheesy and unrealistic. The developing maturity of the character saves this.
Vocabulary - 8 points
Try using more ambitious words, some good words in there, but not enough. Synonyms for boring and common words would help as well.
Total: 64
Keep writing! You'll get better the more you write and take criticism. KAI
