Decals/Stickers

Do you guys care much about the decals that come with the blade, or are you more focused on the specific parts themselves? If you do care about the decals, do you do anything to preserve them (other than not battle with the blade)?

By the way, this isn't a thread meant for asking about where/how to get stickers. There's already a thread for that here: http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Sticker-...cker+sheet
I'm a collector, so I do care. Along with not using certain beyblades (I don't use plastics, only use HMS if I can double up on them, also double up on certain MFBs), I cover the stickers (once applied) with some clear nail polish.
I'm one of those that DON'T care, I battle. I only have one bey I never use at all, and that's a mint Galaxy Pegasis, so I won't use a single part of it, so I don't damage it's stickers with the launcher and tool.
I cut a hexagonal piece of tape, and fold it over the face to protect those with a face sticker. I used to use clear nail polish for them, as well, and I'd recommend that over the tape.
I've never heard of using clear nail polish before. What exactly does that do to the stickers?
I pretty much won't even buy any Plastics/HMS Beys unless they come with stickers/their stickers are visually intact. For MFB, it really depends on the CW and Facebolt. Some Clear Wheels I do not even apply stickers to, as I feel they look better without them. Others, however, I don't really like at all without them. In the case of the latter, I'll usually get two so I have one for display, and one for use.

I also keep the second facebolt sticker every Bey comes with handy in case the one applied to the FB suffers some trauma, rather than putting it on another FB or a launcher.

It acts as a sealant, which helps keep the adhesive intact, and forms a thin, clear barrier that is also prone to helping prevent damage - albeit not on a major scale, but still a noticable one. It also tends to prevent visible aging/slows it noticably.
Well, I do care. They are a part of the bey as well as make it look better.
Kamikaze Pyro, you should probably add a link to the Sticker Sheet topic in your post, to tell people to post there for requests and actual pictures of sticker sheets instead of SPAMming this thread.

Oh, wasn't aware of that thread. I really just wanted to know if/how people preserved theirs. But if you feel this topic doesn't serve a purpose, I won't object to you closing it.

No, this topic is fine since it is not really for the same aspect of stickers, but I can predict what newbies could want to post if they just see the title, and that will be : "does any1 have the stickers for dragoon ms????" This is really not the sort of posts I want to see here since it is really off-topic, therefore you should redirect such people to the other thread right in the first post.
Honestly, I've never put on a sticker other than the Face one after my first Beyblade, sometimes the sides.

This is because they just wear off, and the Face is easy to remove.
I absolutely love the stickers.Actually i think its the best part of unboxing top see the complete bey in its entirety

I do the same thing. I save up the other face sticker as an 'emergency sticker'.
Well, about me- I care a LOT about stickers/decals/paint etc.
I usually play around with my bey a lot when it arrives, and when I realize that I won't be using it for quite a long time(which is probably after playing with it for 3-4 months), I polish its MW, clean all its parts and apply the stickers and put my bey in a display case. I hate to play with my Hell Kerbecs as the paint chips off. I also hate to use my LLD after I applied its stickers. But once that some damage is done, I do not care. A few months back, my LLD's stickers were damaged. I thought- 'It looks better without those'. So I removed the stickers.
Yesterday, I played with my Kerbecs. The paint chipped off. I thought- 'Many people have Hell with chipped paint. So its OK if it chips. But it certainly won't look as good as before.. Let me take some pics'. Tongue_out
If its plastics, then I do care about stickers. But I am OK if the stickers aren't there at times as some beys do look better without them IMO. The bey which I would die for is Dragoon V2. Any damage to the stickers of this bey, and I will never play beyblade again(I am still searching for a Dragoon V2)... Tongue_out

Lol,I do the se thong as both of u. The only bey I thought looked fine without decals was ray unicorno :p

Plastics without stickers is like death. But worse. The only time I won't put a sticker on something is a Galaxy Wheel and a Facebolt with a design already on it.
I don't honestly care that much. I prefer tattooed faces, they don't wear down and look ugly and frankly I think they look cooler. As for stickers on the wheel... I am a battler, not a collector.
I love tattoed faces, stickers wear down, and can rip, however tatooed faces are for life. stickers on metal wheels are cool at first but get wrecked, they should make tattoed stickers on metal wheels.
Yea, i agree, but although i am
a battler, so i dont care that mutch but still, its gotta look nice.
Never use an aurora ray unicorno EVER! You will regret it...
my friend did. =(

well, if somehow the tstooed face gets hit in battle, scratches can appear in the image... happened to my ray unicorno and my Meteo L drago
Plastics & HMS - Yes, It's what makes them visually aesthetic.
MFB - Not so much really, if the Face isn't printed I'll put it on. Otherwise, I keep it off!
