I didn't like him, too questionable. But what I DO think is tactless is that in life the media portrayed him as a paedophile to earn a fortune, but as soon as he died they then made profit by portraying him as a pop legend.

I think he was an eccentric bordering on insane man, and if he was a member of the public, he'd had been put into care.

But then, it's understandable that it turned out the way it did, with his troubled life from childhood.

I was willing to leave this open if it didn't stray off topic, but too many people are bringing up issues that are explicitly banned on this board. So I'm closing this.
