Death Of M Jackson - Ozzyschach - Jun. 26, 2009

50 years of distressful life for him.
Although his near death life was calmer, he finally settled down with his family.
Found a new religion, and then he gets cardiac arrest and dies.
So, what did Micheal mean to you?

RE: Death Of M Jackson - fragbait - Jun. 26, 2009

Well, I became good friends with Billy Jean and we regularly watched Thrillers. Oh, and and we walked on the moon and played some really hard game, we Beat It.

RE: Death Of M Jackson - To - Jun. 26, 2009

I'm honestly in disbelief. Michael Jackson was a huge talent, and will be missed dearly. Nigel's speech on So You Think You Can Dance is really good, and showed how important he was to the world of not just music, but dance. The Thriller clip they showed afterwards gave me chills.

Michael Jackson
1958-2009

RE: Death Of M Jackson - fragbait - Jun. 26, 2009

Yeah, he was a loss. It's too bad his career was more well known for the controversies in it than the music. He will be missed.

RE: Death Of M Jackson - To - Jun. 26, 2009

Well, that's his recent career. His overall career is the music, nothing can deny that, more then 100 million CDs sold can't be brushed off because of some drama that never really went anywhere.

RE: Death Of M Jackson - Spinster - Jun. 26, 2009

MJ was, is, and forever will be the single coolest singer/dancer/performance artist who ever lived. My youth wouldn't have been what it was without his music.
Trying to decide if doing a tribute at Karaoke tomorrow night would be in good or poor taste...

Lol, lots of people on my myspace are posting bulletins saying that they are happy that he is dead. I am so glad that nobody here is acting like that. RIP M.J.

RE: Death Of M Jackson - Ariamis776 - Jun. 26, 2009

never really paid much attention to the guy, but i did listen to his music when i was 5, he will be missed but some people wont x_x

RE: Death Of M Jackson - theflightyellz - Jun. 26, 2009

Heard about this when I was out last night, resulted in thriller being played the whole way through at the club I was at..
Got to give credit to anyone who's spanned almost 5 decades in the pop industry.
He was a troubled guy, as anyone could see, but he was a credit to the music industry who will be missed by many...

RE: Death Of M Jackson - Deikailo - Jun. 26, 2009

I ought to ask my brother to grab my mother's Michael Jackson collection to listen to while we drive up island for the tournament. It seems appropriate...and much better than listening to half the carp on the radio minus Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears.

Geeze, what a time to depart. It's a shame he's probably not going to be as appreciated by as many as he should be for what he's alledgedly done.

This in all honesty ...
RIP Micheal Jackson Unhappy I loved his music and he will forever be the ''King of Pop'' in my opinion.

EDIT: Forgot to say - I give my condolences to his family. Good Luck to them.

RE: Death Of M Jackson - Sega - Jun. 26, 2009

I am a big time Michael Jackson fan, i've grown up on his work, easily my favorite music act of all time, the man is genius and paved the way for the music industry. I'm really shocked about whats happened, i really couldn't believe it, I just thought it was another made up tabloid article at the moment right now I am really really gutted, to be honest i looked up to the guy we lost a legend, easily one of the most famous men in the world.

Its a rotten way to go out in my opinion, I would have loved to see him perform at London and gain the respect he really deserved for his talent, I find it so funny right now that everyone who said negative carp are now hopping on the bandwagon Now just realising what a great man MJ was, i wonder what will happen in the weeks to come as teeenieboppers and naysayers who thought liking MJ was "taboo" are now going to respect him because now hes dead.

I really think the pressure caused by Tabloids over the years, his financial troubles and the upcoming 50 show gig at the 02 Arena just did it for him, i honestly think that MJ really had no choice but to take up the 02 shows to help his financial crisis and in the frail condition he was in after the 2005 trails i really doubted he could pull it off, and now its lead to him dying.
