I hope you like Dash Drivers. All of them. Because they're legal for this event. Yes.

This is an experimental event for our new Burst Classic format! As such, only parts allowed per that banlist are permitted, which are generally Single & Dual Layers.

If you aren't familiar with this format, be sure to read the full ruleset by clicking the button below.

Special Condition: All Dash' Drivers are permitted within this event in order to collect data on whether to prohibit them.

I'll be bringing extra parts for those who may not have their own to use, so don't worry if you're not 100% sure on what is permitted, or know that you definitely don't have legal parts!

We'll return for a standard Burst event at the end of May, so if you're waiting to be able to use those shiny new Gachi Beys, have no fear! We're just trying to complete this format at the moment, and I hear a lot of the London community asking for Classic, so we're seizing the opportunity for now! Smile

Time:
The tournament itself will start at 12:30pm, so as a guide, aim to arrive for 12:00pm. The Tube and public transport services are not very reliable, so plan your journey well in advance.

Remember to turn up on time. If you arrive later than the scheduled start time, your place will be forfeit and you will not be able to participate. If you know you'll be late, please let us know via PM or a post in this thread!

Please note that we cannot predict how long an event will be, as this varies based on the number of competitors and the ongoings throughout the day. In order to stay for the whole event, please be prepared to stick around for at least 2-3 hours.

Location:
Regent's Park. We shall be at the Bandstand as always. Please check this thread on the day for updates or like us on Facebook for any quick location updates.

Directions:
Here is a map of Regent's Park. Click on the tab labelled "Monuments, Fountains and Statues". Head to the area marked Bandstand. We suggest taking the London Underground or Bus to Baker Street.

Prizes:
We might have prizes. We might not. Who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hosts and Judges:
This tournament is being hosted by ~Mana~. If you have any queries about the event, feel free to PM us or post in the thread and we'll be happy to help!

Important Advice:
Despite being around friends and rivals, please remember we are in a public park. Bad behaviour and swearing will not be tolerated and may result in a ban from future events. Please keep your personal belongings with you or in a safe place while at the bandstand. If you see any personal items left around with no apparent owner, please hand it in to a judge, so we can return it to its rightful owner. Your cooperation is much appreciated.

Don't let that stop you! As I said in the opening post;

Quote:I'll be bringing extra parts for those who may not have their own to use, so don't worry if you're not 100% sure on what is permitted, or know that you definitely don't have legal parts

I'll have Beys that those without Classic parts can use, so don't worry!

If you're just not feeling Classic though, that's okay! Our May events will be regular Burst, so we'll be back to having newer releases in the mix again!
Oh ok thanks I might be able to make it or not
what classic beys are you bringing?
Hi all!

Just to give a heads up; I've seen the forecast for Saturday and it's not looking good. I'll be keeping an eye on it until Thursday but, if it still seems bad, I'll be looking to push this event back a week or two to get around this. Sadly we're ill equipped to deal with rain at the bandstand, so we have to avoid it at all costs, haha.

I'll be in touch again on Thursday! Thanks all!
weather forecast looks awful
Hi guys!

After careful deliberation based on the awful weather over the past few days - and how it's forecast to continue until Tuesday - I've decided to push this event back a week to Saturday 4th May. Obviously I'd love to still have the event this weekend instead, but the rain makes it very difficult to host the event, and the park doesn't offer much of a Plan B in the case that it does rain, outside of using the Bandstand itself...which doesn't work all that well as a rain shelter and we end up sharing with the space-consuming Judo guys, haha.

If you were registered for this event, your participation has now been removed and you will need to reconfirm that you can manage the new date.

Thanks all! See you on Saturday 4th May instead!

Hey guys!

There's light afternoon showers expected from 1:30ish, but we're going ahead with our plans anyway! Bring a coat just in case, I don't want to hear anyone complaining! Tongue_out

See you all soon!
Hi I might be a bit late as there is a problem with the bakerloo line
1st - ~Mana~
2nd - @[Ultra]
3rd - @[Basedsamuraij]

Despite the weather, a good day all around! Classic still proves to be an exciting and unpredictable format! Thanks to everyone who came!

See you all again in a few weeks for the next event!
I'm interested in knowing the winning combos, looking forward to seeing them. I think I enjoy Classic more than Standard, as standard tends to rehash the same parts over and over.
missed it tell me when next one is

annoying thing is i have lost longinus

and hes one of my best
