Grats Grin

Since you mentioned Sneak was the it BT09 one? Id reckon you won the "DKVTB" Playmat as well? Grin
Thanks!
It was BT09, but it was the second tournament that day, and the shop was closing in an hour, so we sped through it, and only the first place from each pool got a mat, and I was second. Luckily, one of the first place winners was really nice and gave me the mat, because he already had tons, haha. So I didn't technically win it, but I got it nonetheless.
Among all the mats so far I think this one is one of the best. Mael was nice but the art was very blury =(.

The Blood is very detailed.

Anyone here got an invitation to the Team League btw? My regionals are this weekend and turns out they dont allow BT09 yet =\
we have already had our team leagues. couldn't be bothered with it after losing the first qualifiers
I finally got my 1st cards! It is the Resonance of Thunder Dragon Narukami trial Deck. I also plan on getting the other Narukami trial deck on Saturday at a beyblade tourney so I can have a better Narukami deck.

When I played I ran Narukami's too hah, if you beat FlashMaster 2/3 for your first matches (like I did ;D) I'll admit you're good :3

English or Japanese format?
The second Narukami deck isn't released until October, so you'll have to wait a bit.
if he said he is getting the second narukami deck at a tournament, I think he is playing jap.
Hey guys, I just had my 1st 5 Cardfights at Comic Book Heaven!!! I love this game so much now that I know how to play! I don't care if I'm not very good XD. My record is now 2 wins-3 losses.

I dealt 5 damage to him in one cardfight and got really close, but never beat him!

English format cards. I just got some B. Triangle booster packs too.
If you're gonna run Narukami, the Trial Deck is only meant to start you off. But as of BT08, you're better off running 4 Vermillion and 4 Dungaree. Or throw in Rumble-Gun Dragon (if you can find them) to give your Early Game an edge.

Come BT10, just run Dragonic Descendant.
Since I'm a starter, don't judge this question: what is a bt08 or bt10?
Booster sets. Those are the 8th and the 10th.
So, Blue Storm Armada and Triumphant Return of the King of Knights? I got 2 Twin Blade boosters and got no Narukami today
That is Booster SEt 5. They have no Narukami support in those.

The booster sets which has Narukami support are
BT06
BT08
BT09
BT10 (Not out in English) (Eradicator Archetype is introduced from here on)
BT11 (Not out in English)
BT12 (Not out yet)

Just to point out, from BT10 onwards, Narukami has an Archetype (officially its called "Legion") being introduced which is the Eradicators. They have several skills which require specific Narukami cards with Eradicators in the name for their effects to pull off and may NOT be compatible with some Narukami cards.

tldr;
Treat it as a sub clan and not the usual Narukami.

TD09 is actually part of the Eradicator series.
a fairly solid but cheap deck id recommend 4 of the grade 3 Djinn, 2 thunder breaks, 1 dungaree(or a 3rd thunder break), with a bit of luck, you will have solid columns consistently due to the djinn getting power puls 4000 when vanguard, and power plus 2000 as rear guard, thunder break's limit break swings for 15 by himself and if paired with his special booster rairai can swing for 20k as rear guard with a soul blast, meaning with the special booster you swing for 25k or 24k and 20k rear guard with the right conditions (special booster for thunder break and 8k booster for djinn), match that up with spark kid to search out a g3 and some hex cannon wyverns for a secondary "beatstick"(it swings for 11k by itself when opponent as at 3+ damage) photon bomber wyvern, the special booster is a rare, the damage unflipper is a rare, deathsythe is a fairly cheap double rare and with set 9's release the narukami perfect guards are fairly cheap as well plus you have a good number of options with this build, you can go hyper agro with 12 critical triggers, you can go rainbow triggers(4 of each kind), the standard 8 crit 4 draw 4 heal or even go for a stand/crit combo(6 crit 6 stand or something similar) in my experience, this is easily a high tier 2 deck, aginst crossrides and 11k vanguards you hit the magic numbers, offencively, but defencively, you are at a disadvantage, one thing that could work to help your defences, run 2-3 of the special intercepts alongside perfect guards, while sacraficeing the ability to hit the magic numbers on an 11k or 13k vanguard, you can still target a rear guard with it, and use it to defend right after to save hand early to mid game, in my opinion this is a solid deck choice in the current metagame, but keep in mind things will change come set 10, and i'm not entirely shure how well it will handle come breakride meta
Btw, what are some good Aqua Force boosters in the US (if theyre out here)? I just wanted to use Narukami so I could learn how to play, and I heard Aqua Force is a very good clan.
I don't recommend Thunder Break for a specific reason.

Kagero and Narukami has a retirer called Berserk Dragon and Dragonic Deathscythe respectively. Their skill is to retire a G2 or less RG (any, btw, not that Front Row stuff), for the cost of two CB when placed on a RG or VG circle. Thunder Break has that same ability, albeit only the VG circle. The reason why this is bad for Thunder Break is because it becomes a 10k vanilla if you don't use its effect, and a 15k offensive by Late Game. I wouldn't even recommend it as a budget deck, because Thunder Break is not even close to a subpar vanguard.

If you want a 10k VG, get Rumble-Gun Dragon (a promo, yes, but what's a few dollars?) and combine it with Dungaree for Late Game. Cards like Rumble-Gun and Dragon Monk, Goku (Kagero) are best for Early Game, which combined with a Limit Break Vanguard covers Late Game.

If you want a better budget deck, use these, because they don't cost much. (Djinn? Please, who runs that.)

Hunh, they call it Legion now? When did that come up?

The only sets that have Aqua Force are TD07 (TD stands for Trial Deck), BT08, and BT09. They make their return in BT11, coming out this December. Get the Trial Deck to start yourself off, and build from 08 and 09.

the reason it works isn't because of skills, its because of the consistent 18k+ colums you can make
Yeah. Late Game. Are you really gonna bring yourself to Late Game right off the bat just to use your Limit Breaks? That's the biggest mistake players on Season 2 make nowadays, because they think, "I gotta use my Limit Break to give me an edge." You're on 4 Damage. Do you really think your opponent will stay on the same level as you just so you can use your Limit Break?

Edit: And Djinn can't even attack RGs. Who's gonna take out the other interceptors and RGs if Thunder Break can only off his skill once?

Rumble-Gun takes out boosters. Dungaree takes out Interceptors and G3 RGs once per turn until you need to re-Ride for a simple cost of one CB per LB. Manually. Not AUTO, it's ACT. You have no pressure if you just have consistent Stage 2 attacks unless you minus their field, when they can't intercept or attack or boost and have to sacrifice a guard to replenish their units. Also, 11k defensive. By the time you hit with Dungaree, you don't have to worry about its 9k defensive when you already messed up their field.

Edit 2: And seriously, line break and proper punctuation. Reading your post was an effort in order to make heads or tails of what you were saying.

Quite awhile actually just that no one uses it.

Everyone goes with the term Archetype instead. Its like how people will call Nulls or Perfect guards instead of Sentinels or Starting Vanguard instead of forerunner.

The only term I see used commonly is just "Lord" for 11K based units =\.
What is an Archetype, Legion, Nulls, Sentinels, etc..? Are they cards or effects?
(Jul. 01, 2013  10:54 PM)Bazooka Wrote: What is an Archetype, Legion, Nulls, Sentinels, etc..? Are they cards or effects?

ok, this may be a bit. an archetype is a repeated name for different cards that normally have effects applied to them, for example, liberators for gold paladin and jewel knights for royals. legion i have no idea honestly, a google search comes up with the booster pack. nulls are perfect guards, grade 1 cards that have a guard of zero, but it's ability means at a cost of it's self and another card of the same clan from hand, the attack is completely stopped as if it had an infinite guard value. sentinels are the starting vanguards that move back, the official wording being forerunner (don't quote me on this, as this is only what I've gathered from others). basically each one of these is a word we apply to a common effect or trend on many cards to allow easier chat.
I believe Legions are the same as archetypes.
