I think it would be good for you to really examine the Burst characters. Season 1 & 2 specifically. When you take a look at those two seasons, a lot of good character work is done. The main and side characters are well developed and have concrete character arcs. So I'd take the time to examine the characters before you declare them bad. Just a thought to keep in mind.

never watched og, but from the clips ive seen, it looks like metal. metal was pretty uncreative with its animation, just lots of explosions. burst is more realistic, but more colorful as well. also burst has better hair styles

mfb has a worse plot than burst. mfb just carries it out a bit better, but no one rly cares about bursts plot holes, the battles are way better. also mfb has..... i can count 5-6 good mfb battles. here are some amazing burst ones:
