galaxyunicorn, against a storm gemios DF145FS, I would say virtually any customization that's slightly useful, but otherwise:
Attack: MF Lightning L-Drago CH120RF
Defense: MF Earth Bull 230WB
Stamina: Earth Bull 230/145WD
Destabilizer: Flame Cancer 100SF

Gokurox, you missed half of his parts... I don't understand most of your recommendations... AD145>145, but 100 is far more useful in his case. He has CS, so why you reccomended WB for anything I don't know... Destabilisers aren't that useful.

GalaxyUnicorn, if you're being beaten by that, I'm guessing you're in a hasbro stadium. Use Earth Bull 100WD, he won't be able to hit you. If that fails, swap to CS, and he'll lose easy.

MF LLD CH120RF would beat it easy in a TT attack stadium.

Anyway, as a full guide:
Attack: MF Lightning L Drago CH120RF. In TT attack, this will murder him horribly. You can try HF in a Hasbro Stadium, but using stamina would be a better choice, as if he does survive, he'll outspin you.
Defense: MF Earth Bull 230CS. This will probably beat him, it's a pretty safe bet, though as he's at 145, there's a small chance he'll beat you. If you get Basalt, though, you'll win easily. Alternatively, you can use MF Earth Bull 100CS. He shouldn't be able to beat that. Launch as hard as possible at the centre, you want to keep it in stamina mode.

Stamina: Earth Bull 100WD: This should take care of him, he shouldn't be able to connect well enough to do anything to you.
Other options are AD145WD, but he'll hit you then, so I wouldn't. 230WD is useable, but D is better, and against a 145 attacker, I wouldn't risk it.

So yeah, I'd use Earth Bull 100 WD/CS, and you can put a Metal Face on the CS one.

Could people please stop asking for combo's with Clear Wheels? It's incredibly stupid.

Honestly, you can't make a combo with a Clear Wheel, it's easily the least important part of a bey, the only dramatic effect it can have is if it's getting in the way, or on a destabiliser, which is a dated concept anyway*.

Consider it this way, here’s a list of the importance of/differences made by the various parts of a beyblade: (Click to View)

The facebolt: Plastic, Metal, MF-2. Difference of up to 4.2g, Noticeable effect on Stamina, Defence, and Recoil.

MW: Hugely important, weight, shape, spin direction, arguably most important part.

Track: Again, Hugely important, Height is a huge factor for all combo’s, defense (especially in the case of 230 or bd145), and weight.

Bottom: Determines the movement, stamina, defensive ability, grip. Again, huge.

Clear Wheel: Unless it’s getting in the way of attack types, the main effect is on weight distribution and weight, however, the weight difference between a Hasbro Aquario (the heaviest) and Gemios (the lightest) is little over 1g.
The effect of weight distribution and spin time is similarly small. Again, Facebolt choice has a larger effect, as does pretty much every other part.

Honestly, it would be more reasonable to ask us to "Build [you] a combo using a normal facebolt". That’s a far more important thing than a clear wheel.

So, STOP ASKING PEOPLE TO BUILD YOU COMBO'S FOR CLEAR WHEELS, IT'S STUPID.

For what it's worth, though, I've written a guide to help you Choose A Clear Wheel, after deciding what type of combo you're making, if you're concerned about it.

th!nk's Relatively Simple Guide to CW choice:

Simple Version:
Attack: Choose something where it doesn't get in the way.
Stamina: Choose something that's weight distribution doesn't screw up the balance.
Defense: Choose the Heaviest CW possible.

The former should be obvious by it not jutting out ahead of an impact point or above a slope (Aquila and Gemios jut in front of Vulcan's impact points, most CW's block Screw's slopes. This is an example of what to avoid).

Less important note on the benefits of awkardly shaped CW's for attack (Click to View)

ControL_ explained to me (and I hope he doesn't mind me posting) that an awkwardly distributed, and non-aerodynamic CW is good for attack types, and I agree. Byxis is a good example of that, especially on Vulcan, where it also reveals the major impact points excellently. Again, the distribution and aerodynamics doesn't make a huge difference, but if you're looking for a little extra or you don't mind not using your favourite CW, you may as well go for it.

Try to reveal as many impact points as possible, this is easy with painted wheels, impact points will be where the pain chips the most, But really, you should be able to see it anyway. If something looks like it's gonna be hitting the opponent, make sure it can. Metal hits harder than plastic (lower elasticity etc), so you want it hitting where it can.
An excellent example of this is Perseus Attack: compared to the other Perseus CW's, it has been tested and shown to improve results. Same with Choosing Counter mode on Perseus Normal/Def.

If it's not getting in the way, you can really use whatever you want, as it won't make a huge difference.

Stamina CW Choice Explanation (Click to View)

Here, you want to choose a CW with a good weight distribution. This is still hard to show in testing because there's only a few seconds difference between good CW's.
Still, when choosing this, you have to take into account the Metal Wheel’s shape and distribution. We have always traditionally suggested Bull, and it IS great, BUT at that time, Stamina MW’s matched that. Now we have Hell, which doesn’t have a perfectly equal weight distribution when used with Bull. As such, Kerbecs is a logical choice, (though theoretically, any 3-sided/divisible CW should be fine).

Any more than matching the sides for balance, and choosing a CW that isn’t terribly un-aerodynamic, is very minor.
Some testing has suggested that it’s almost impossible to test the differences reliably. You can get just as noticeable differences with two different coloured DF145’s (which in reality are basically identical). It’s extremely hard without a way to moderate RPM for each launch, and remove other tiny factors like the breeze etc.

In a tourney, Launch Power, Technique, and Tip Condition are probably more likely to make the difference.

List of heavy CW’s for Defence (Click to View)

Hasbro’s Aquario is the Heaviest CW with the bonus of great weight distribution (basically even the whole way around), Bull, Kerbecs, and Hasbro's "Gasher" are also heavy.
You should be able to find weights of every CW around the forum, so don't ask people for them, search, and you'll find it (or, you can try using Kitchen Scales, though it won't be as accurate, because of the TINY weight differences).

*MF Ldrago 90WF is the only destabiliser that's still useful, and it doesn't have a CW.

So I'm just starting to get into the new series. Before I go for one solid combo, I want to have a few Beys to be able to make decent combos have strength in any class. I have a Storm Pegasus and a Poison Serpent right now. What's the next Bey I should pick up that would be able to give me a lot of options, given my other two Beys?

Lightning L Drago for attack Earth Eagle for stamina/defense and Dark Bull for everything except attack.
