Ray Striker has A CS, so yes, get it and you'll have a top-tier Defense type...
Yeah, buying a Ray Unicorn/Striker would probably be the easiest way of obtaining a CS.

Right Spin Attack: MF-H Hades Kerbecs W105/100/90RF/R2F
Left spin Attack: MF-H Lightning L-Drago 100/90R2F/RF
Defense: MF-L Duo Kerbecs 230MB
Stamina: MF-H Duo Kerbecs 145WD
That Duo combo is actually considered a Balance type. And Heavy Metal Faces are a no-no on Stamina combos.
Here's some other combos:
Right-Spin Attack: Refer to post above
Left-Spin Attack: MF-H L-Drago Guardian D125 WF perhaps?
Defense: MF-H Duo Kerbecs BD145 CS/RS/RSF
Stamina: Duo Gasher 145 WD
Balance: MF-H Duo Gasher 230 MB
Try to get some more Attack-Parts (Flash, Blitz, VariAres, CH120) and AD145 for Stamina combos.
Other than that you should be set!

He has a Hell wheel, so he can use Hell Bull 145 CS for Defense, but its not the best.
Meh, I've heard that Hell has a lot of recoil, so Evil or Burn Aquario 85/100/DF145CS may be a better option for Defense in this case.
Hell Kerbecs BD145 (Boostmode) CS would be his best option for defense..

Not totally. It still scrapes just as easily, but usually when it gets caught in crevices (Burning Firestrike, Bolt Blast, etc.) Depending on the slope of the stadium, it could work just as good as in a BB-10...
