Alright, then for defense : MF-H basalt cancer BD145/MF-H basalt kerbecs 230 CS

oh no... MF-H Basalt Kerbecs BDq45 RS is still harder to KO than D125 RS...
use BD145 RS if you think you are opposing pure attacker(RF based)
use BD145 CS for semi defense-stamina combos...
if you got D..then use MF-H Basalt Kerbecs 230 D..
Just thinking could I change hell kerbecs AD145WD with Hell Kerbecs BD145WD
I'm pretty sure it would a ticking bomb to put RS on BD145 during a tournament. I'm sure you would have read my next post so.. Anyway, how's this team? Attack : MF vari ares R145 RF/WF Defense: MF-H death kerbecs BD145 CS and Stamina: Phantom Cancer/Bull TH170 CS? I'd rather use CS over D for more staying-in power.
Much better too, actually, as long it's in boost mode. Stick with 230 for defense then.

IN terms of solo spin time you could use
Burn fireblaze 100 MS
Twisted ___230 MS
But if you want something that would be useful try this:
Burn Fireblaze 100 WD
Twisted Tempo 230 WD
Dark Mousy- Why not use the Aquario CW for the Defense combos? Kerbecs isn't the best CW to choose on a BD145, you know.
When put into Basalt correctly, Kerbecs has good weight distribution for Basalt.

I didnt see he had aquario.

That is a misconception. As I said, your statement is only applicable to non-BD145 Basalt combos.
I recommend you to read th!nk's CW Guide...
Dark_Mousy- Don't worry! It happens!
which of these is a better defence combo mf-h duo aquario bd145 cs or mf-h duo aquario bd145 rdf.
also is there any way to consistently beat duo bd145.

Personally i use Kerbecs on all Basalt customs i use. I just love Kerbecs. For some reason i just didnt like how Basalt Aquario felt when i launch it.
CS is usually preferred, thanks to RDF's low stamina.
So, the CS variant.
But yes, for pure Defense, RDF is decent. But as stamina is essential, CS has to be used...
Dark_Mousy- Personal preferences may be considered later on.
I think we must suggest the best possible combos; unhindered by our personal preferences.

I understand. But i was under the assumption that Kerbecs helped balance out Basalt with its stair case of death.
Oh yes, it does balance out. Hence it is so widely used with Basalt. But unfortunately, it doesn't balance well with BD145...
Even Aquario balances out Basalt's imbalance. Aquario is the most balanced CW, and if there's Aquario, nothing else should be chosen for Defense/Stamina.
It can be termed as the Ultimate Defense/Stamina CW.

when using an attack combo which should i use rf or r2f because its so hard to choose, i use rf more, but i don't know which one to use.
RF= more stamina, added control.
R²F= less stamina, more speed, less control.
Usually, speed is essential, so people choose R²F.
At other times, stamina is essential, so RF.
The speed improvement is not HUGE, hence many people tend to use RF, for its added stamina.
But yeah, its been said countless times that it all depends on personal preference.

thanks ill keep on using rf.
It really depends on the wheel. Usually, people use RF on Variares, Phantom, and Beat and R2F on Blitz.
