Yes, Basalt has use in Stamina, Defense, and Anti-Attack. He could use 230D it should do decent. Most people these days just think of it as a Defense wheel. It's kinda like Earth it has Stamina and Defense. Not so much Anti-Attack.

OR Balance(Anti-Attack, in your case): MF-L Basalt SGTO II Horogium D125/UW145(?) R2F
Horogium was supposedly best on this and otherwise Unicorno II would be a better choice than sagII for extra weight and the same thing as Kerbecs had for it. I recall UW145 doing okay on this setup and it's at a better height than D125 for this. Anti Attack is closely related to defense and therefore "OR" is more appropriate than listing it as balance IMO.

Was bored and decided to do a recommendations audit - Notes in Italics, Additions in Bold and Errors crossed out.

And Basalt 230D isn't going to beat anything MLD D125EWD doesn't, and will lose to a lot more things, assuming one knows to weak launch MLD to keep it in the stadium more often.

It wasn't bad before we all adapted to 230's presence/got things of a weight that could do something to basalt, LTDC is much more effective in a format where people are used to tall tracks, as limited has shown haha.

Anti-Attack varies depending on the specific combo, but it is usually defensive, easier to just call a combo anti-attack and be done with it if you know that's the right name for it. In this case it serves a very similar function to the defense combo and uses the same wheel, so IMO it's better to present it as an alternative to that, though you probably don't need to bother with that.

Personally I'm not a huge fan of recommending a specific list of types, better to just give them the most useful set of customs they can make with their parts, and then label them appropriately after the fact, but I don't feel like trying to reform the way this thread operates at the moment haha.

And I'm glad to see people can accept a little constructive criticism, so good on you for that.
