Looks will matter to you subconsciously, they are the single best predictor of how long a relationship will last (similar levels of physical attractiveness). I used to think it was all feelings too, until I realised I lose interest in womem I don't find physically attractive (as well as mentally/emotionally attractive, of course). Not that it's the only thing, it plays a slightly smaller part for me than other factors (intelligence, and probably sense of humour), but it's still large, as much as I wish it weren't.

Haha, you make everything sound that easy. Believe me, I've tried just that. We've been good friends though, helping each other out. It's the most messed up situation, and I don't have a solution other then what you said-and it failed .
