I would beg to differ.

Long-distance relationships are incredibly difficult and come with their own set of challenges and stresses, but if both people are committed to the relationship and the love is real, they're doable. It may not be worth it to you, but that isn't to say it would be worth it for others.
Ah, although I'm not a fan of long distance relationships as a whole, I really meant it's not worth it for his age. I should have been more specific.

At age 14/15, I think it would be beneficial to socialize with others and get to know himself more through that. It's not worth it if the girl he would be going for already said she is not interested.

At our age, even I would still entertain the idea if, like you said, the other person would commit. Past age 18, you also have less restrictions and more resources to work with to keep a long distance relationship together.

EDIT: Oh, you don't know if she likes you or not? Then you should find out.

I probably should find out. But to be honest, I'm scared... Unhappy I've never liked a girl this much before. I've liked girls before, but not as much as I'm falling for her... And if she doesn't like me, what do I do? It's hard to fight your feelings. And sometimes it's painful to fight your feelings...
i have a problem. theres this girl i like and she is my really good freind trying to ask her out but i can get up the courage.Any suggestions? (I already hit puberty

Go out on a limb, blatantly ask her.
Make her like you. >:V

Well, then don't ask her. I guess when guys have tried to find out if I liked them, they just used complements and hints and used my reaction to it as an answer. Roan probably has a better idea for this because I like to watch a person's face and tone for a real answer.

Ugh, don't ask me what you do if you get rejected. I get over these things within the hour. I really wish I would not be so quick to let things go. It makes me feel so inhuman.
were in the same group

I don't think it's real love if you get over it that quickly... Maybe you just like them a little bit but on the inside, you couldn't care less... Then again, I'm not you, so I wouldn't know...
Well, today, something really inconvenient happened.

Okay, so I had a crush on this girl at my school. But a couple months ago, I found out she already has a boyfriend. I'm still taking my precious little time getting over it, but my gossipy friend went ahead and told everyone that, INCLUDING my crush.

Any of you guys had the same problem? :\

That's okay. I'm kinda really violent too, so strong language doesn't offend me too much, hehe.

Yeah, I didn't really think my crush would probably like me, anyways. Most people think I'm a ADHD-level spazz, but yeah. My friend's been doing that a lot, it's about time I tell him off. XD

Simple. Grow up and get over it. I don't see how it's a bad thing for somebody to know if you love them or not. When I like somebody, I usually go straight out and tell them. I don't like keeping those kinds of secrets... And, they don't really seem to mind. Girls seem to like that better than the fact that I'm obviously hiding something from them. At least in my experiences...

Since the right frontal lobe governs emotions and I am missing about half of that, I have had to retrain my brain to support the chemical imbalance. As a part of that, I can seemingly switch to cognitive thought over emotions since that is now the more dominate process of my brain.

Or at least that's what my doctor said.

Oh...sorry, did I offend you or something. Sorry. Speechless

But yeah, maybe I'll just wait for the whole thing to die down. Something more attention-grabbing usually comes right after something like this, like Grade 8 graduation or something.

I didn't understand all of that... But from what I did understand, your doctor said you can only love with your eyes and not your feelings, You don't have the ability to love to the fullest, or something entirely different...

hey dude it isn't that bad. i asked a girl that i liked to a dance. she said no. i was fine i had the best time at the dance so don't feel bad or depressed if she says no
I have a friend who seems to deal with nothing but carp from a mentally wounded mother and a bystander father. Two girls set him up one time. I think one near the end of the first semester, and another I think earlier in the second semester. Call me jaded, but I feel like that kind of immature behavior is the result of 21st century media influence (insert duh?).

EDIT:

My incredibly lead-weighted opinion on media and how it effects youths perception of a healthy romance and a mature attitude about life in general. MTV is the only thing people at my school talked about, are the latest Wiz Khalifa or "pimp gangsta" idea of getting women. While I was hardly ever thinking of a relationship at age fourteen, when the idea of one opened up on me, I tried to read as much into how to start one at various communities. Some even discussing the phases of "dumping" and what can go horribly wrong and land you in a worse place. I swear to god everyone I ever spoke to in school were in some way psychotic about relationships. It was either the guy or the girl. The guy becoming a misogynist happened every now and then. The girl was absent for days or months.
Anyway my problem is my girlfriend is obsesed with violent things even though shes my perfect match i like this other girl as shown on the previous page

Err... not, I basically have an "off" button to emotion. Except rage. I'm not very good with that one.

For example, I still love my ex, but I need to force myself to stay away from her because I know she's crazy. Whenever I talk to her, I simply want to melt over her every word, but instead I have the ability to think without emotion if I need to.
ya know. i like that in this forum we all connect some way
oh ya have you ever had that problem that you like a girl and your parents a re dating. its really creepy

Then why not end the relationship? If you're not going to be fully committed in the relationship, then end it. You're only hurting her more. But, then again, you're probably twelve (considering the way you type), and it's probably not a real relationship anyway.

So, you can look at the world with a more judgmental or moral perspective? Like looking at everything good or bad in the world, rather than what you think of it? Like all those morals they tell little kids, which they never seem to carry with them throughout life? You have the ability to see something and judge it according to morals and such without your emotions effecting it at all?
