Boss Battle Nexus

Format:

Boss Battle Nexus is a format between bosses and challengers winners take all.

How it works

The tournament is split into two types of players: Bosses and Challengers

Bosses have been pre-selected by me and are meant to be a tough opponent for the challengers to defeat, but the penalty for the majority of them losing is also great

Challengers are everyone else in the tournament (probably you reading this), their role is to take down the bosses and have a placement at the top of their groups.

In the group stage, which will be round robin (Meaning everyone faces each other), the 4 bosses will be separated into 4 groups, and challengers will be put into these groups, then the battles will commence, battles will be first to 4 points no repeating parts(standard format) amongst challengers but if a challenger faces a boss the game will be first to 7.

If 3 or more of the bosses end up at the top of their groups, then all bosses go to the finals challengers will be excluded.

If 3 or more challengers end up at the top of their groups, then the top 2 challengers from each group will go to the finals, and all bosses will be banned from the finals.

In the case of a 2-to-2 split, a final game will take place between a Boss and a Challenger. The boss will be nominated by the bosses, and a challenger will also be nominated for this game by the challengers. This game will be first to 7, best of 3, no repeating parts, and it will determine which group gets a chance at prizing.

Prizing:

The prizes will be distributed on a placement basis, meaning 1st place gets to pick their prize first, 2nd place second, etc

Japanese 1st edition Beyblade X manga

Location, time, and Registration:

Registration begins at 12.30 and ends at 13.15

The tournament will begin at 13.30

The tournament will cost £10 for entry, and payments will be taken through cash or PayPal on the day
