Did you bank Blitz because it needs to be? Its helps with the attack. RS will move slightly more.

I'm starting to really like Blitz.

I put together MF-H Basalt GB145RS to play around with Blitz Unicorno 85R2F, mostly because my CS turned aggro again and was being irritating. Then, to try and counter that, I set up Blitz Unicorno GB145R2F, on a whim. I'm aware my Basalt combo is specialized and uncommon, but it did a number on 85R2F.

Standard Procedures
MF-H Basalt Aquario GB145RS vs Blitz Unicorno 85R2F
MF-H Basalt Aquario GB145RS: 7(3 OS, 4 KO)
Blitz Unicorno 85R2F: 3(KO)
Blitz win %: 30%

Standard Procedures
MF-H Basalt Aquario GB145RS vs Blitz Unicorno GB145R2F
MF-H Basalt Aquario GB145RS: 2(KO)
Blitz Unicorno GB145R2F: 8(KO)
Blitz win %: 80%

Keep in mind this was just casual tinkering, but I felt it might be interesting for others to see.

EDIT: Point of minor interest, I suppose, the R2F on my Blitz is a Hasbro one, but I noticed very minimal stalling. All launches were also done at 100% appropriated strength.

Try putting an MF on Blitz since Blitz has a lot of recoil.

I feel like direct metal wheel contact is better than 85 against Basalt GB145.

Actually, with the setup I tested, my Blitz had little to no outstanding recoil. I've also only got one MF kit, so I had to go with what I had available.

Blitz Unicorno GB145R2F's KOs were all OHKOs, instantaneous contact knockouts. Forgot to mention that.

I figured making the MWs connect more would provide this result, which is why I tested it. I chose GB145 specifically on Blitz for the potential of added stability/lowered recoil via higher weight.

Hmm... maybe that was just Barrage Attack Mode... Anyways, what was Blitz's mode in your tests?

Assault Attack Mode, in all of the tests. I've not gotten around to testing Barrage, but I can do it sometime tomorrow if I remember, maybe.

I like assault better than barrage mode. With assault, you have more driving force behind each hit because the weight is more concentrated to that attack point.

@dekailo Assault Attack Mode or Barrage Attack Mode, we have to be specific with the mode names. And I completely agree with you, Assault Attack Mode has those very concentrated points, where as in Barrage Attack Mode is seems that the contact points are so close they don't make as big of an impact.

Also nice tests hazel, I'm glad to read that blitz doesn't have a huge amount of recoil from when it was first being tested. Was it the weight from the GB145 that helped the recoil or was it the R2F? Or was it just both? Because if it was just the weight from the GB145 I would like to see an XF test.

Right, which is exactly why I was specific, unless you selectively read my post.

It's more like where the weight is. With weight, you have driving force. Assault mode concentrates the weight into one hit.

On a completely unrelated note, this is the ugliest wheel so far. Why does the ugly one have to be useful?

I can try out XF later. I'm willing to bet the lowered recoil was from the GB145 stabilizing its weight a little bit better. BD145 would, in theory, do something similar, but it also protrudes really far out, too, which would likely neutralize the overall effect.

Cool thanks man, I just want to see if we can maximize the power behind this thing. And because GB145 seems to get rid of the recoil, blitz has almost nothing holding it back. But I don't think BD145 would do as much as GB145. As you said, BD145 protrudes pretty far and could possibly take away some smash potential. I think that was the same problem with variares too, but BD145 on that apparently is still beast.

Who in their right mind would you put Blitz on BD145? That would entirely defeat the purpose of Blitz's shape.

Actually, one of the bigger problems with BD145, as far as I can see, on this MW is that it makes it easier to destabilize - if the Bey wobbles or angles in a way such as to alter its contact with opposing metal wheels, the BD145 could be potentially ruining the actual power of the Bey against 145 Basalt combos, and possibly even 230 heights. BD145 also extends beyond the key contact points on the MW, which would waste spin velocity on track contact.

R2F is what I use on mine. I tested RF for about an hour on it and found that R2F just gives it much more necessary speed to allow OHKOs, while also slightly cutting down on produced recoil.

If I put my MF on my Blitz, I can't test it against a MF Basalt, which invalidates it entirely. Blitz doesn't need an MF to KO Basalt anyway, and if it doesn't need that much weight to KO the heaviest, sturdiest wheel, it won't need it for KOing anything else.

BD145 is not for attackers at all only if the wheel is very unique in shape. like VariAres and Lightning..
Blitz no way!
Blitz uses its upwards smash to win or at taller heights its force smash and since this wheel is symmetrical from top to bottom it has the same amount of both...
BD145 would absolutely ruin Blitz (I should have tests up soon)

I could do CS Tests but the results might be off a bit since my CS is considerably worn.

Alright, so I did the XF tests I promised to do, and the results were really bad. I don't like XF much at all on Blitz, and GB145 did nothing to help it.

Standard Procedures
Blitz Unicorno GB145XF vs MF-H Basalt Aquario GB145RS
Blitz Unicorno GB145XF: 3(2OS, 1 KO)
MF-H Basalt Aquario GB145RS: 7(6KO, 1 OS)

XF just seemed to have far, far too much recoil, and nowhere near enough traction to reliably push, let alone smash, Basalt using RS. So, for this combo, R2F is definitely the tip of choice.

Also, as a point of interest, the two out-spins XF did manage were via Tornado Stalling, wherein it does greatly out-last RS, but it's really not a reliable method of beating it.
