Beywiki Photo thread

Heres the album with them all in - http://s420.photobucket.com/albums/pp283...%20Photos/

There is certainly an improvement with the Track/Bottoms photos, but the side views are still a bit iffy. And, for these new photos, it didn't look like you were using natural lighting any longer. Is this true? Or at least, it didn't seem as direct. If you're taking Beywiki photos, I've always found that natural light coming from the side (rather than from behind what you're photographing) seemed to work best.

(Sorry for being so nitpicky, haha. You can go ahead and post the best of the pictures you have now to their respective articles, and if you manage to improve any of the shots later, you can update them)

edit: Also, do you think you could take photos of a gold Hell Kerbecs? The article is pretty much ready, and it would be cool to actually have photos with an article as it is posted.

Haha, don't worry about it I'd like to make them up to Beywiki Standard!

All were taken using natural light, although the previous photos were taken on my window seal and these new ones on my drawers which isn't directly in the sunlight.
I wasn't sure on these side views either I think the previous ones looked better, I'll give them another shot tomorrow.

I'll get some photos of Hell Kerbecs up as well for your tomorrow also.
OK, I ask that everyone now posts links to their photos, instead of posting the pictures directly. If possible, also go edit your previous posts, it makes people's computers freeze.
The side views for Gemios and Vulcan Horuseus have definitely been improved.

As for the Hell Kerbecs photos, they're good; just make sure that everything is centred, and that you're not taking the photo on any type of an angle (in some of the photos it appeared as if you did, but that might just be what you're using for the background). Also, because BD145 is such a huge Track, including the top view photos in the article wouldn't hurt.
Ok so all these are all the best photos and are now re-sized (800x600) and ready to be put with the right articles if you want to use them.

I've still got the LDrago photos but I'm going to redo the side views, I also have some Poison Serpent SW145SD Photos on my photobucket but I think some of the lighting was off, but you can see them here anyway - http://s420.photobucket.com/albums/pp283...%20Photos/

(I would add these myself but I tried the other day and I had no idea what I was actually doing so I don't want to ruin an article by accident lol)
These look great! You can go ahead and add them (seriously, just take a look at what has been done on other articles!); maybe just re-take the Hell Wheel photos so that they're as close up as the Gemios/Vulcan ones are.

Thanks so much for your work.
The Gemios DF145FS, Vulcan Horuseus 145D and Hell Kerbecs BD145DS photo's have been added.

If these are alright then I'll add them and start doing the photos for the Poison Serpent and I can do some for Dark Wolf as it doesn't seem to have any but I think I only have the track and bottom from the BB-32 version now, although I could use the track and bottom from Gemios DF145FS as they were a similar colour if i remember correctly.
Wow! These are really great pictures! Hope Kei can see 'em soon!
I think they good great. [:

That's good enough for me haha, I'll start putting them in the article.
http://imageshack.us/g/829/dsc00470y.jpg/

lots of pictures.

special things to point out:

-there's pictures of 2 Ray Molds
-There's no individual pictures of Thermal because DrigerGT already has them in this topic
-There's no individual pictures of Flame because they're already on beywiki
-there's a rock 0 cylinder Mold
-there's no individual dark picture because there's already one on beywiki.

So can i post the pictures on articles that are already on BeyWiki?
Does anyone by chance have pictures for VariAres that I can use for my draft? I need to take them again because my VariAres is worn out!

EDIT: This is the best place I could request anything of this nature..

These are near perfect. There's a few that are slightly out of focus or have a bit too much shadow covering them, but for the most part they're great. Go ahead and post them.
OK, I need some help.

I uploaded a couple of them, but for several of them, it gave me this message "Could not upload "[weird stuff here]" to "[weird stuff here]".

Smithicide
That's formatting, hand 'em over to:

www.gfxf.net

The site takes, I think all formats.
Wait, so can I use the links that are on imageshack.com to upload the pictures to BeyWiki?

Can you post exactly what it said?
Hmm, it didn`t do it this time.
so dark wolf is up.

if it happens again, i`ll post exactly what it says
It happened again:

Could not copy file "/tmp/phpEiNVzq" to "temp/d/d8/20110929230402!ThermalLacerta02.JPG".

and at the top of the screen it said:

Warning: copy(images/temp/d/d8/20110929230502!ThermalLacerta02.JPG) [function.copy]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/admin/domains/worldbeyblade.org/public_html/wiki/includes/filerepo/FSRepo.php on line 199

like a foreign language.
That is really weird, I experienced absolutely no trouble uploading the single image of VariAres..
If need be, just get someone else to upload 'em.
Also, I've got a camera so I can probably upload some good pictures when need be.
Is it acceptable for the VariAres to be worn? I would upload some pictures if that is okay.. (Stickers are all perfectly in tact, just the overall wheel color is duller than NIB)
Since I cannot off-hand do it right now, it is less worn than BBS' but very close to it. :V
Though obviously all stickers are on, and not as faded/used as BBS' prong stickers. (Ya know, on both sides of the Face Bolt?)
well I'm free so I thought why not help around (I realize the face stickers are not there but if it is compulsory I'll put it on...)

If you need them larger I can do that...
