Wow, you would probably have to have a driver's license, lol....
Beyblade parts you want to see come true!
trueblader Wrote:I just got an idea for how the could make beyblade a pro sport. it would aslo incorporate the first complete remotely controlled blades. ok here it goes, imagine when the announcer guy says let it rip the bladers jump into giant life scale versions of their favorite mfb beyblade. i mean what if beyblades were drivable vehicles. the blader would get inside of the blades track, in a gyro-scope like shell that stayed in place while the blade was spinning. the track would have four windows on four sides of the track under the wheel. the rider/blader would be able to control exactly where the blade went. so the bladers would ram the blades into one another until one went into a pocket (that would be the only safe way to win the battle, being nocked out of the stadium would obviously be bad for you and the spectators).
could some one give me the link on how to draw pictures on a post so i could give a diagram

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How in the hell do you get something like that to spin? How do you keep it spinning? Why would anyone want to do this? Does technology like this exist? Does LSD mean anything to you? How many lives would you be willing to sacrifice in order to get this off the ground? If not LSD, does magical genies mean anything to you? Can the riders summon magical ponies and carp to fight other huge technologically advanced motor spin tops? Does severe motion sickness mean anything to you? Will hasbro build stadiums that big for us? Can the pockets please haves spikes in them? Will this be premiered in Japan? Do you watch Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds?

i was about to one-day ban you because my initial reaction was that this post is pretty mean, but if you take out the laughter it basically is what any sane person would think

In all honesty, I found his post to be hilarious. That wasn't to be mean in the least, I seriously laughed.
My mind could have never mustered up something like that. Huge remote controlled motorized spin tops in stadiums with hasbro pitfalls. As a pro sport.
Edit:
I'd fully support his idea if it was possible.
I wouldn't, i mean who in their right mind would get in something like this and go head to head, i wasn't actually serious this would be like suicide, however it would be cool to watch, and it is not impossible, it would work like a big motorized gyroscope.
trueblader Wrote:Bey Brad Wrote:Draciel F's BB is not better than S's on any level.
Also, if a Beyblade magnetically attracted other Beyblades with any significant strength, they would both grind to a halt.
wait a minute, if the track had a full magnet, as in north and south not just north, and that magnet was in a free spinning case in the track them mabye the blades would not get stuck to gether. Or they could even make one side of the blade north and the other side south. Then the blades would go through cycles of attracting and repelling eachother.
In a free spinning case, because of the strong attraction, the two will just jam together. What you need is a free spinning outer shielding.
Do you know how fast Beyblades spin? You're going to change between attracting and repelling many times every second.
Synesthesia Wrote:Would there be any way to effectively combine an engine gear with a bearing tip beyblade?
My idea would be that as the beyblade loses spin/balance, the gear kicks in, and gives it enough extra spin to outlast the other blade.
Would be really effective as a spin stealer. I don't see how this would work good though.
If you really wanted to kick carp, the gear kicks in when the sides of the base hits the stadium.
Grey Wrote:Bey Brad Wrote:... how would a "full" EG blade even work?
I dunno, the engine is set off and spins the entire Beyblade, instead of the tip.
...
Wait, oops.
You'll need a really heavy or high-friction tip. Otherwise, the rest of the beyblade will stay in place while the tip moves.
trueblader Wrote:the track would have to be redesigned from the ground up to incorporate an engine. As for the full engine gear blade I personally don't think it is impossible. Alot of time, money, reseach and resources would have to go in to making it work, and i highly doubt that takara would really invest so much in that, not that it's a bad idea though, it's a great idea it would just be to much trouble and money for takara.Rubber bands <3
Bey Brad Wrote:On to ideas that I think are good, I think an EG concept that made the AR/Wheel spin faster, rather than the tip, could be really cool.Something like Samurai Changer with two of those slashy things from Riger would be carp scary with that. You could use it to freak out little kids.
Bey Brad Wrote:Although difficult to implement, a Track that allows the AR to stay still while spinning at fast speeds, but a clutch activates that makes it free-spinning at lower speeds, could be really neat.
If the design is something like, say, Sparkring attacker, all it needs is slots on the outer AR, and sliding bars on the inner AR that extends to lock when it's fast.

There currently exist huge blow-up clear plastic ball thingies, which people get into, and roll down hills. For fun. I don't understand it.
Composer of Requiems Wrote:If you really wanted to kick carp, the gear kicks in when the sides of the base hits the stadium.
That would be insanely brutal. Occasionally, you can get lucky and outspin a bearing core, but with that, it'd basically get back up, and win that instant.
That'd probably be too good.
If anything, it's a cool design. I'd personally prefer a stationary metal ball tip, but that's just me. Really good job.
Where's the spike attack?
Bey Brad Wrote:If anything, it's a cool design. I'd personally prefer a stationary metal ball tip, but that's just me. Really good job.
What is the performance diference between a stationary metal ball tip and a free spining one? The stationary maintains its ground better?
Composer of Requiems Wrote:Where's the spike attack?
Those secondary tentacles go a little bit far the primary tetacles making little spikes. Little spikes do more pressure on a certain point than big ones right? I think that's what spike attack is... Isn't it..?
spike attack is when there are multiple small notches on an attack point to increase pressure
and a stationary tip will have higher spin velocity and better defense
and a stationary tip will have higher spin velocity and better defense

Oh right, i get it now! Thanks! =)
I will modify the text on the design. =)
How many new revolutionary ideas could really come out of beyblading. i mean there is lots of room for revolutionary parts just not systems. imo the magnacore and engine gear tops were more or less gimmicks based off of the spingear system, not really actual systems on their own. spin gear was just an evolution of the basic screw in system, the hms was an evolution of the plastics, and the metal fight is an evolution of the HMS. all takara has been doing is adding more metal to the blades, what could possibly be next.

Full-metal Beyblades, maybe?
Althoug it was already told to me that that would really limit design, customization, and performance.
Yes, but a full metal blade would just be another evolution, not a revolution in beyblade design.
I don't see the need for a revolution or huge gimmicks. Just keep the playing field balanced and I'm happy.
trueblader Wrote:Yes, but a full metal blade would just be another evolution, not a revolution in beyblade design.
Aristotle's definition of a political revolution:
Aristotle Wrote:1. Complete change from one constitution to another
2. Modification of an existing constitution.
This could be applied to Beyblade, no?
Now, I don't see how the concept of a Beyblade could undergo a complete change without making it a brand new game. You can't change the concept of a spinning top and still call it a spinning top.
And as for the second definition, it appears that the HMS was a revolution, as is the Metal Fight system. In this case, the Spin Gear system would be a revolution, too.
Grey Wrote:And as for the second definition, it appears that the HMS was a revolution, as is the Metal Fight system. In this case, the Spin Gear system would be a revolution, too.
Well in that contex i guess you could say they were revolutionary to the game of beyblading itself, not a revolutionary change to the beyblade concept.
What would you consider a revolutionary change?
I don't mean that the SG, HMS, and MFB aren't revolutionary concepts to the game they just aren't revolutionary to the beyblade concept. if they were a big enough change to be revolutionary they would not be called beyblades, or spinning tops for that matter any more. beyblade is already a revolutionary concept in itself. it is a revolution of beigoma. The HMS system is something that could have easily been thought of at the very beggining of beyblade itself. All the system did was add more metal to the beyblade. in particular the attack ring. this did not change how the blades spun or battled. So they were just an evolution of the plastic blades. the actual game itself was revolutionized however with the blades. The metal fight is doing nothing more than adding more metal, which is just an evolution of the HMS concept. That is not to say the MFB's won't revolutionize the game and practice of beyblading.
So uh.
Do you actually have any idea as to how they could revolutionize it, then?
