About the WBO

Welcome to the first installment of the 2025 Georgia Cup Series presented by Blader D and morgorath. This will be a series of ranked Beyblade X tournaments.

Tournament Style

This tournament will be ranked and points will be tracked as a part of the Georgia Bladers Circuit in collaboration with Chezco, GuudeTG100, and TungstenRat.

Group stage will be run as Swiss with a 3on3 format playing to 7 points. Finals will be Single Elimination with a WBO Deck format playing to 7 points.

Matches will take place in the Takara Tomy Xtreme Stadium. There will be 3-4 stadiums set up depending on the number of participants.

Win Condition Point Values
You score point(s) when:
  • The opposing Beyblade stops spinning (1 Point)
  • The opposing Beyblade enters the Over Zone and is unable to return to the Battle Zone (2 Points)
  • The opposing Beyblade enters the Xtreme Zone and is unable to return to the Battle Zone (3 Points)
  • The opposing Beyblade bursts (2 Points)
Optional Rules
  1. Own finish
    1. When you score an Xtreme finish or over finish against a Bey that did not touch your Bey during the battle, it is considered an own finish instead.
    2. When you score an own finish, you receive 1 point. Then, the battle is replayed.
    3. This optional rule can be applied to individual stages of the event.
  2. Out-of-bounds spin finish
    1. If the opposing Bey leaves the battle area through the launch area and becomes out-of-play, instead of voiding the battle, it will be considered as scoring a spin finish.

It's Swiss. Only the final stage is an elimination bracket.
RalfBalf is correct we will be playing Swiss 5 rounds with the top 8 players moving to the finals. The only losers match we have is for third place.
So it looks like the newest beys we will have n time for this event are Shelter Drake booster. CX beys will not be available till after March 29th. SO we look to have those for the April CCS event.
Can you still free play if you don't make it into the tournament? Also, is there an age limit?
Thanks!
Yes you can still free play, and I don’t think there’s an age limit.

Free play is totally fine. The age limitation is only the suggested age of use for the products. Also, just increased the cap to 36.
Will have Shelter Drake and Rock golem in the Store cant wait to see you all and get some battles in on Saturday
