cool beyblade burst x plastic video
Recently mentioned how the Burst series of Beyblades is most like the original Beigoma from Japan. Beigoma means "shell-spinning-top" and in ancient Japan, they were originally made from seashells - which would sometimes explode on impact, just like in Burst. The video above is another kind of fighting top from Japan called a Kenkagoma - which literally means "fighting-spinning-top". These are the original fighting tops which the ancient Chinese settlers brought to Japan when they first colonised the islands. Beigoma were a much later invention, purely Japanese, which only became popular around 13-14th century. Cool, no?
