Besides performance differences, I just don't like that they're too different from TT, so it really kills the option of having an easier or cheaper way to get certain random booster beyblades. I missed it when they made authentic, cross compatible beyblades, and while they are technically authentic, they don't seem like it to me.
Rehashing this, as I finally managed on finding some Switchstrike beys, including tW. I'll admit that looks-wise, yeah, Hasbros beys trigger me about as much as their constant use of Edge. Performance-wise, it feels to me like Hasbro is finally catching up to TT. I ended up fighting the TT and Hasbro versions of tW, and I couldn't stop the ties from flooding in. I don't think I had a single winner in about 20 battles, only double sleepouts.
I definitely agree with the looks and lack of cross-compatibility, but their power level has actually lined up in the mirrors to the point that I'm actually impressed given how much weaker the basic and dual layers were and that inauthentic feeling they have.
