Beyblade Media Attention

Correct me and feel free to close this if I'm wrong, but we lack a thread devoted to the press attention Beyblade receives.

This is that thread.

Recent Articles I've come across:

Hasbro Stock Report: http://www.bidnessetc.com/business/hasbr...ving-plan/

New Falcons Stadium Referenced as a Beyblade Arena: http://www.thefalcoholic.com/2014/6/13/5...mb-columns

This is a picture of the newspaper article that I mentioned would be written in the local paper, The Roanoke Times, on the Roanoke, VA tournament I held a couple years ago, called May Flowers? (The online article no longer exists on their website.)

Ah, thanks for the clarification.

As a note, I hate when media may call Beyblade stupid or a children's toy. It's more complex then that, ya know? And that stupid Facebook thing saying Beys encouraged smoking drugs. xD
Not 100% sure what exactly this article is saying, but it sounds like tournaments were being hosted somewhere: http://www.arabnews.com/news/665876

Also, even if the toyline isn't truly on hiatus, the anime most certainly is based on the team moving on to other projects http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/201...eam/.81279

'Prizes like PS4 and iPad Mini"
...now there's a tournament I wouldn't miss Cool
I'm not sure if anyone has known yet but after watching "100 Greatest Toys with Jonathan Ross", it has just caught my attention that Beyblades were on there. I don't have a video so you'll have to take my word on it. It was voted as the #91 Greatest Toys (Classic ones only though).
Wow that's pretty cool, TBH. Thanks fr the info.
A little over two years ago, Blader Jam 7.0, a tournament held by Dark_Mousy in Goldsboro was held, and got some attention in a newspaper article. It was said by Kai-V that other members at the event were interviewed, too.

And of course, here's the full thread: Click here.

Oh yeah. I've seen that show. They had footage of a Beyblade Tournament and there was this guy who says it is "one of his favourite toys".

Yeah, thats the one. The also say that "it went up but then went down afterwards" which possibly references to the fact that they were extremely popular but then they became unpopular afterwards. When I saw that Beyblade was on #91, I was really surprised that they even came back to it even though Metal Fight Beyblades were selling worldwide at the time this programme was shown (I think it was first shown in 2010).

By the way, I saw some kid using an Upper Dragoon AR for the tournament and a grey BB (I'm not sure which one).

It's great that they're still hosting tournaments, but it looks like New Boy is also still using the English Metal Fight Beyblade logo that we created without our permission. Nice.
I'm both annoyed by that and also kind of love it.
