cause im awesome like that

Just saw you registered. Thank you.

You have to make an account on CGS (If you don't already have one) and register for Beyblade Colosseum. Also it helps to buy your ticket in Advance.

You have to buy a ticket before you can register. We are now at 26 confirmed participants.

Also I can now say that first prize will be walking away with close to $150usd worth of prizes/Gift certificates. Remember to thank our sponsors because without them & the WBO this event would'nt of happened.
Thanks for correcting me on that. 150 for prizes and gift certificates! Thats super motivation. Thanks to Hasbro, BBG, Kickin Kiwi (I think they are sponsoring) and biggest thanks to the WBO. Without the WBO this event would not even happen. Thanks BBG for awesome prizes.

yes they are officially sponsoring. Also its encouraged that everyone goes there after for some Froyo. Its awesome. Its Heaven on Earth.

But seriously they're nice enough to support us then the least we can do is support them. Just saying.

They are only printed once for the winner... so this isn't seen by like millions of people. Just that one person and their friends. Well and of course whomever is on facebook at the time... We'll make sure WBO gets some mad props during the awards show.

Thanks,
Michael

What? Just because they aren't seen by millions of people doesn't mean that the organization that is making this tournament possible in the first place (the WBO) should not be mentioned on it. And no logos? Both the Beyblade logo and the CGS logo are on it.

Also, I'm not sure why they should want the graphic designer to maintain "100% creative control". As the client, CGS should be giving some type of direction, however vague, to the designer. You can't just tell them to do whatever they want, because then you run the risk of him or her coming to you with a finished product that is completely off target, like the current plaque. The current plaque not only fails to mention the WBO, it fails to mention the name of the event! And in addition to that, there is no real visual connection between what the concept of this tournament is and what has been presented on the plaque; it's just generic concept art with "1st Place Carolina Games Summit" written on it.

In any case, what's done is done ... there's no time to fix it now. I am happy that they'll at least be mentioning us (Howard, make sure our URL is mentioned specifically!) during the awards show.

The WBO will be mentioned I assure you. It will be mentioned on Live Stream on multiple occasions I promise. If you want to make some certificates or something I can print them out and have them go along with it.
Ya know... alot of people think beys are just toys, but there not-- there our partners, and friends, who battle beside us giving us hope, power, and courage, and our bonds tighten the more and more we battle. I'm going because i wanna be the best in the world... and if you go to, I WISH YOU LUCK! Beyblade spirit~!
Primal is on the maybe list twice.
I really want to go but alas, i cannot. Unhappy I still wish the best of luck to those attending and safe travel for them as well. I wish there was i way i could watch it live even though i cant be there.

Very much so. This event will be one of the best events if not the best of the year.

We will indeed have a live stream of this event.

Also we are now getting 2 separate rooms for this event. We will have a waiting room/free play room. Then we will have the tournament room.
I would like to make one thing clear. Due to the size of this event, players in this event WILL NOT BE JUDGING. To make sure there is no controversy or any problems.
WOW 2 separate rooms. Thats cool. So who are the judges. I know you and Primus.

Pruebame will also be judging. I will need help running the streams etc. Due to a slight oversight on my part with CGS rules, Players can't help or judge.
Then why is Pruebame signed up for the actual tournament on CGS?
So I can't drive all the way by myself, but if someone was willing to help I might be able to make it:

My main problem is that I'm narcoleptic, and it's just not safe for me to drive 9 hours by myself. However, it's a non-problem for me to drive 3 or 4 hours, which leads to my question:

Is there anybody going to the tournament from GA/AL/TN/anywhere else in the Southeast close-ish to Alabama that I could bum a ride from? Like, I'd drive to your place and hitch a ride the rest of the way there. I'd be more than happy to pay for gas, and I promise I'm really polite.

He signed up for Bazooka. Pruebame is getting a volunteer pass like Primus & myself.
Okay so Pruebame is Bazooka (On CGS)?

Yes. this is correct. Hitsugiya might help judge if he isn't busy.
yea, i signed up along time ago on CGS. and i have a question, how will the tournament work, and how will the elimination go? 3 wins? and where do u go when you loose, and will we have time to practice with our beys?

The tournament will be Double Elimination, which means lose twice and you're out. The number of wins it takes to win the tournament will differ based on the amount of players. Dark_Mousy said a few posts up that we'll have two separate rooms, one for the tournament, and one for free play (practice).
I can answer. So it is double elimination. You lose twice your out. You can practice before and during the tournament (During the tournament when yo don't have an actual battle). When you get 2 loses you can stay and watch the rest (Which I will do if I lose, but hopefully that won't happen) or you can go. Your choice.
TO everyone asking about Double Elimination

We've upped the attendance cap up to 70 right now.

He hasn't edited that part in a while since I was gonna judge to until he said that you can't do both. He'll update it soon.
