Beyblade Burst Sparking - Episode 50 (Review)

What's this?! Another episode where Hyuga was actually decent?! Yeah, I thought him actually listening to his brother for real this time about not attacking head on should be done more often. He also helped Hikaru escape from Valt and Rantaro, as well as being able to form a new strategy with him.

The battle itself was pretty good, but not quite as exciting as I had hoped it would be. However, I did like the ending where the Asahi brothers used their new move "Twin Break Impact" to attack from above using their Limit Break gimmicks to collide away from each other to create more momentum for Hyuga's attack.

Even after that, they barely won against Valt and Rantaro. Yeah, they barely won as Hyperion actually bursted first after being used for that attack, with Ragnaruk and Valkyrie bursting right after. It was Hikaru who survived and thank goodness, he gets to have the spotlight focused on him. It was especially thanks to him that they've now solidified their place in the finals against Lean and Shu.

Good episode, now with two more left.

The battle overall was actually pretty good, and I actually really liked that Hyuga was being more strategic here, as he wasn't just going head on. He worked with Hikaru well here and I wish this element was a thing that was gradually improved before to lead up to it. Regardless, their diving attack was pretty cool, and used their limit break in creative ways. I liked that they used Hikaru's too boost Hyperion down, and Hyperion's explosive action to press against Valkyrie and Ragnaruk. All three bursted as a result, and Helio's survived.

Overall, a really good match.

That’s not really plot armour to be fair. It’s effectively a tag move the same way Raging tempest and Hyper tornado+ Achilles combination are tag moves. One bey boosts the other.

Valt is arguably not that much stronger than Hikaru, as Hikaru was holding Valkyrie and Ragnurak back on its own for a decent bit. Not to mention, this is a way different situation than in episode 27. The bros have their Limit Break, the height advantage coming from above, and heck, even Hyperion bursted in the end.
Not like it was just blazing through like Lean usually does.

Why are people complaining about plot/plot armour now? There is 2 episodes left of Sparking so you complaining about plot armour and stuff doesn't make sense, its not like what you say will do anything to fix the series this late. Also I would say Hygua and Hikaru are on legend level, S-teir ranking.

All based on perspective bruv, but this late into the series? The bros are on the levels of legends for REAL now. Sure, they've had questionable moments in the PAST, but at least this battle makes SENSE. Granted this is just my opinion.
