A decent episode. Didn't blow me away or anything. Honestly it felt good to see Wakiya stick it to Bel, I wish it had stuck because he absolutely deserved to be disqualified lol. That bit of hijinks aside, the real meat and potatoes was Valt's battle against Pri and the wonderful surprise at the end of the episode which I'll talk about in a minute.
First, the battle. I really enjoyed it. The animation department decided to put some extra flair on it which is always appreciated. Pri did a decent job putting up a fight but the reality was she was completely outmatched.
This my friends is what we call punching way above your weight class.
Once Valt smiled his smile it was game over for her. She was simply out of her league.
Then we got the awesome surprise of Shu making his appearance in QuadStrike. I wasn't sure we'd see Shu return, I was hoping he would, but I wasn't at all sure so that was a pleasant surprise. I can't wait for what I'm sure will be an awesome battle between The Legend of Legends and The Crimson Flame.
