Beyblade Burst GT (Gachi)

Not sure if anyone has shown this already but there's a Japanese video of someone assembling a Gachi bey.

Nice!!!

Excellent, I cannot wait then!

Let's just hope it gets treatment than Bloody Longinus.

Thanks for the update @[marutti].

I'm not surprised Fafnir returned TBH. This pattern is giving me Bloody Longinus déjà vue. Why? Because...
  • Both nL and gF are left spinning dragons that were broken by the main antagonist.
  • Both Longinus and Fafnir makes a return early within a series (Longinus returned early in Cho-Z and now it seems Fafnir will return early in GT).
I wouldn't be surprised if Free was beaten in less than half the series by the new protagonist in favour of new characters.

I wonder if Free will be the owner, I guess if he was, he'd appear in the poster with all the characters as Lui appeared in cho_z poster.
Whelp, time for me to remake my fan made beyblades again.
From what I could translate the video [[marutti]] linked, the names of Slash Valkryie's parts are:
  • Disc: Blitz (ブリッツ, Burittsu)
  • Driver: Power (パワー, Pawā)
...and Bushin Asura's parts named:
  • Disc: Hurricane (ハリケーン, Harikēn)
  • Driver: Keep (キープ, Kīpu)
Interestingly, the design of "Ten" Gatinko Weight is 4-bar piece with five (5) weight points and resembles two trapezoids joined at their tips. Unexpectedly different from the "Zan" and "Retsu" weights.
Oh my everloving God, this may be the coolest Beyblade series this community has had the privilege of getting from Takara Tomy. Thanks for the vid, too, Marutti. As soon as I saw Grand Valkyrie, my checking account evaporated.
This series is SO exciting. I have to pick up The dx starter and then bushin just because of the freespinning disc.
Do we have names for the Layer parts? We have Gachi Chip but what about the other two pieces?

I’m assuming that the bottom part is called the Gachi Base, so Slash would be a Gachi Base, but the part on top is a mystery to me. Maybe it’ll be a Gachi Frame???

The metal Piece is called the Layer Weight, the "Attack Ring" is called a Layer Base, and the middle part is called a Gachi Chip (probably alluding to the Bit Chip)

I thought the Gachi Chip was the Layer Weight in the middle?

No. That was just the assumption from before the leaks, based on the God Chip and Level Chip names.
The MC seems nice, a mix of Valt and Aiga. His quirk is his creepy smile which could make for some funny scenes.

Here's the light breakdown of all the parts of a GT Layer so far:
  • Gatinko Chip (Japanese: ガチンコチップ): The crowning piece of the GT Layer that has the "teeth" and the avatar motif. Used to lock the GT Layer components together.
  • Weight (Japanese: ウエイト): The die-cast metal component, located beneath the Gatinko Chip. Facilitates the weight of the Layer; presumably for increased performance.
  • Base (Japanese: ベース): The bottom layer which the Weight and Gatinko Chip are situated. The main combat component of the GT Layer.

Or Geist Fafnir for that matter. Geist Fafnir was fairly underwhelming.
With all the new disks coming out that have gimmicks, it relates directly to my point about every part having a purpose.

BTW, Gatinko Chip has different kinds of teeth. And this time, not only the height of teeth varies but also the amount of teeth are different. For example, Dragon has 4 regular teeth, Valkyrie has only 2, but very high teeth, and Asura has relatively loose teeth, but there are 7 of them to defend continuous attack.
