Beyblade Burst DB Episode #44 (January 21, 2022)
I have no words for this one, holy hell. And since I have no words for it, I'll describe how I feel in an image.

Ok, I think I've done Prominenc Counter IRL by accident by causing Phoenix to drift around.
I laughed at the battle choreography. Must say, it was a pretty creative second round lol

Because he knows Phenomeno isn't dangerous like Phi.

*Kicks Soccer Ball with very little effort* Oh. I wasn't trying because my Opponent wasn't Dangerous. In all seriousness, I wouldn't say Valt wasn't trying I'd say this was just the Animators or General Plot Writers Fault. They honestly should've given Valt a Point at the Least. Was Valt using Full Power? No. Was he Not Trying? No. Has anyone else noticed that Valt has only beaten Bell when he Resonates but every time he doesn't Resonate Bell smacks him. (SMACK). So that proves that Valt wasn't going Full Power. The only exception to this Rule that I just brought up is when he Battled Ultimate, Bell still hadn't Mastered Belial and Valt got a Power Boost thanks to him evolving Valkyrie into its "Ultimate Form." In all seriousness, Valt was just done dirty in this Episode and he wasn't not trying at all, he was fully aware of Phemoeno's Strength and tried to combat it but failed since the Animators did him dirty.

valts still getting used to his new bey i wouldn't relly expect him to win straight away and and you can tell valt was holding back its not the writers fault they just wanted it to be like that and it makes sense if you think about it and it contributes more and those reasons are why i love db with the amount of detail they put in its just amazing how everything connects and its just beautiful

He got done dirty but it wasn’t that bad better then getting bursted on the first round or have him get bursted on the second and have Pain go 3-0 so either way this is far better not only that you could say he was getting used to the stadium but that’s just what I think
First of all Valt is a pro. He doesn't need to get used to beys like he did at first. He was just trying to figure out how Phoenix works. We should stop using the excuse that Valt tries on people that are dominant like Phi, or Red Eye because that is just a lie. Valt is the type of blader that tries on every opponent he battles.
Let me slightly correct myself here. I'll admit, it was better than Valt getting a Burst Finish as a loss but he was still done pretty dirty and I'm so glad that the Animators didn't make Valkyrie Burst in this Battle because then I would've just been straight up disappointed. And I never said Valt doesn't try in Battles, I'm just saying that he uses Different Amounts of Power for Different Bladers since he doesn't wanna break their Bey and be a Sweaty Beyblade tryhard. Also, yeah. Valt needs to get used to his Bey, if you're a Pro Gamer and you switch from an Xbox to a PC It'll take you some time to get used to it, the same is with Beyblade. Even when you're a Pro at something if you try a Different Type of Strategy or Use Different Items it takes you a while to Master it. Let's go back to the Gaming Example, if you switch from an Xbox to a PC then you might have to look down at the keyboard a couple of times before you can play without using the Keyboard and actually Master it to you can focus on your Screen. Valt somewhat needs to get in the Habit of using Valkyrie and all the New Abilities and Powers it now possesses thanks to its Evolution. I'm not trying to argue or say that any of your opinions are bad or Incorrect I'm just saying what I think of Valt, Valkyrie, and the General Episode. I'm not saying I'm totally right or anything, just my opinion.

Pretty much this, Valt lost and that was that.
This was definetely one of the worst DB episodes. Ultimate Valkyrie, the most powerful Valkryie, got destroyed that easily? Valt, the legend of the legends gets defeated that easily? I think DB's not thinking this through. Maybe they're trying to rush this. It's unrealistic for someone to do that to Valt. i hope DB has a good grand finale with no rushing, since this episode was unrealistic.

I mean Valt dropped into the armor so it was definitely one of the well thought strategies compared to Payne using his special move to burst him. No one expected Payne's strategy so this was definitely one of the good ones in DB.
I feel like Payne isn't getting enough credit for the genius strategy of using the armor as a trap to keep Valkyrie from moving. Payne literally used the Phoenix armor in a way that Phi couldn't just like Prominence Shaker and now the Shield Trap, Valkyrie falling into the lower level and falling into the Shield was apart of Paynes plan. Unrelated, it's not all about Valt, he is going to lose regardless if he has a new bey or not. I feel like if Valt had battled Phi in Cho-Z, things would not have ended that much differently.
I've said this many times in the past but just because your favorite character loses doesn't make an episode or series bad, i can agree that Phenomeno is mediocrely written at best with his motivation to crush Rashad but whining over your favorite characters loss because of a genius strategy is a big bruh moment.

An episode dedicating of 2 power houses clashing and you get this. the battle felt really rushed i feel like they can expand more out of it like i would rather get phenomeno dominating valt with a burst than this yeah its surely nice but theres no stakes which already made this episode pretty underwealming.
I genuinely do like Pain's strategy of using the armour to trap Valkyrie in place to lose it's stamina. My only nitpick with it is that both the Shield Trap move and Prominence Shaker are kinda situational moves only doable in a very specific stadium. Most other special moves aren't like that. There are exceptions like the Hyper Tornado move also being usable in the situational Storm Plate stadium, but that still feels possible to do if someone just had a crazy strong launch. Prominence Shaker and the Shield Trap need that first floor, though I suppose the latter is probably still possible.
Also, like I mentioned previously, but the funny thing is that the Shield Trap move could've been avoided if Valt just stuck to his Shot driver with it's jumping gimmick.
An actual gripe I have, besides Pain's embarrassingly simplistic backstory and motivation once again, is that this episode made me realise that in all of it's appearances so far, even the debut one, Ultimate Valkyrie does not feel powerful or special at all, despite being called Ultimate Valkyrie. No, this isn't because Valt lost to Pain, it's mainly the lack of flash or a true sense of grandeur Ultimate Valkyrie actually shows so far, it has no fancy abilities or even a showcase of raw power or speed. Saviour Valkyrie did a much better job IMO.

paynes backstory is good. he just wants revenge for rashad being rude to him and rashad should have never said that such a beautiful backstory

That's what I'm expecting, that Valkyrie truly shows a lot when it fights Perfect Belial. Valkyrie's probably not shown it's full power yet, so I hope they'll do more for it.
Honestly I think Pain's story needs more, like a lot more. I think Rashad and Pain should've had more history or a past connection. Like, maybe Rashad could've been Pain's friend, so Rashad insulting Pain would've hurt more because be was supposed to be a friend. Or maybe Pain idolized Rashad because he heard that Rashad was friendly and respected, so hearing those words hurt him even more. Something like that.
Savior Valkyrie would've been the perfect fit for this stadium. Imagine different scenarios like Valt using his shot driver move to JUMP up to the upper stage had someone pushed him down. Idk why would you want to do that but it'd look really cool. Can you think of different moves that'd only be possible in that stadium?
