I...I honestly don't know what they were thinking when they pit these two against each other here. What the heck happened to Rashad earning the right to battle Free first? Where is that battle? And why pick Free of all people to show off the S-Gear? Couldn't they have given us a rematch against, say, Basara? I'm just confused about their choice of opponents, Bell doesn't even need to beat Free at this point...
Let's just hope the battle actually lasts for more than two minutes and a half so it makes up for the last 3 way-too-short ones...

I am leaning towards agreement here. This seems a little weird on my end, honestly. I personally feel like at this rate, DB is going to be well-known for its weird and sucky battles (quick, the opponent choices, etc.). Or maybe it already is; but from this, we can see that its even more emphasized

As I usually mention, Burst really does a good job reminding viewers that its just one giant, obvious commercial. The advertising was still there in the previous Beyblade series (and in plenty of other toy anime), but Burst moves itself along based on whatever they can advertise. This one was pretty lame tbh. Like, c'mon, at least give Free a chance to get one point, but no. It has to end in one battle. I get it that they want to advertise the new gear, but do it good and reasonable. They should have done it so that the first battle is a double knockout (with Belial's S-Gear in attack mode), and then a surviver finish in the second battle by Belial, happening by him sucking all the hits from Fafnir with the help of the free spinning mode of the S-Gear. It was clear from the beginning on that Free will loose, but does it has to be like that? Because of these poor executed things, this episode gets a low 4.5-5/10 from me.

At least we will get to see Ilya's Ifrit(or) in the next episode, alongside a Battle Royale. I bet that either Ilya will win or Bell/Rashad. Of course Ilya will only win because of her debut, but in the rest of the season she will get humiliated by Bell's/Belial's gears and Rashad's Valkyrie. Lol, I'm just waiting on it.

Surely enough, Bell battles Free right in front of everyone, completely disregarding the Tour’s rules (the little shat). I’m still miffed at this meaning we’re not getting Rashad VS Free, but honestly, this battle was nice despite being rather short. I’d have expected Belial to win 2-0 by Spin Finish and then Over Finish, with each round showcasing a different mode of the S-Gear. Also Illya joins the Tour and is actually a part of BC Sol. I’m a bit surprised by this, but it makes sense since she and Rashad apparently go back a bit, sounds interesting...
Next episode? Lui shenanigans on a haunted-but-actually-not island. Excited to see how things will go, and particularly hyped for Ifrit’s debut!
Overall, this episode wasn’t half bad, but I’m still a bit annoyed at it so it gets a 6/10.

Man this is so stupid, I don't mind Bell battling Free if it at least had some impact on the story but this was again so random. The reason we spent another episode on Bell vs Free was because Free made fun of Bell in his dream? Seriously?? Plus again zero consequences. Did everyone forget that Bell's beaten Valt? Shouldn't he be like, I don't know the world champion or number 1 legend if he's beaten LITERALLY THE STRONGEST BLADER ON EARTH? But no one seems to care. So now he beat Free but the story wouldn't have changed at all even if he had lost. There's no story or theme it feels like I've been watching the same episode for the past 15 weeks.

the S-gear wasn't really focused on more than anything else was, all the gears lit up not just the s gear. Besides that, Free is on a higher level than basara so even though bell lost to him too I'm sure he'd rather face someone stronger than someone he could literally battle anytime he wanted. As for the rashad and free potatoes idk what's going on with that.

I'm honestly in the same boat with you. This Dynamite Battle Tour is lame. Nonsensical things happening and the story being short changed in the name of advertisement. Not advancing plot and character forward at the same time. I'm honestly sick of "defeat the legends" Not the biggest fan of DB so far. It feels like there's no real story here, just stuff happening. I haven't posted on here in a little bit because I too have decided to take a little break from Beyblade and the community at large.

I don't see why everyone's complaining now of all times, this has been happening since Cho-Z lmao.

Had the same problems with Turbo, although Turbo was worse imo. Enjoyed Rise.

So, this episode wasn't horrible but it wasn't that good either. The Episode starts off with Bell dreaming about battling Shu with the S Gear, Belial hits Spriggan but Spriggan counters sending it flying in the air, then Free comes in (In The Dream) And says something to Bell, I don't know what he said cause I don't speak Japanese but Bell seems shocked at what he said and the ground breaks and Bell falls. Bell wakes up to his Pops sitting right next to him drinking tea and they yell something about S Gear. The gang is having breakfast and Ransou goes AMIGO!!! Like he usually does, then the gang talks about S Gear (Note: Bell isn't here right now) and they learn that Bell is going to challenge Free, Free's training in his forest, and thinking about Rashad, Bell comes out of nowhere launching his Bey and knocking Fafnir out, they talk about S Gear for a bit, and the gang shows up, Bell's Grandpa comes in with a little drone to record the battle, and then becomes an announcer? What the-- anyways they dive into the first battle (FINALLY THEY STOP TALKING ABOUT S Gear) Bell goes in with a Venture Shoot and hits Fafnir, Fafnir and Belial get sent flying across the stadium, Rashad and Valt talk about S Gear for a bit and fast forward to the battle, Belial is hitting Fafnir with a powerful barrage of attacks, Belial leans on Venture+V and speeds up and starts clashing with Fafnir, Free uses using Kick Counter again and Belial gets sent flying, and Bell's grandpa be like NO THIS IS THE END!!! And literally drops his microphone into Hanah's hand, then Hanah becomes the announcer?! Seriously Beyblade, what the-- and Fafnir speeds up on the Kick Driver, and Belial speeds up and Hannah says "Belial sped up" or something I could honestly care less. Free and Bell power-up and Bell goes in for a DYNAMITE BOMBA! Fafnir and Belial get shot up in the air, and Fafnir bursts. So, you're telling me a white-haired kid with many years of Blading experience (Shu) Can't beat someone that lost to a freaking 10-year-old kid?! Shame on you Free and Shu. Free and bell talk (Idk what about) but Bell's just laughing like a fricking maniac. fast forward Wakiya and Valt meet Illya, and Illya probably says that she wants to join or something. and Bell brags about his victory to Rashad and they talk about something (IDK) Illya comes in being like "I just got Starbucks coffee!!" and they talk about how Rashad knows Illya, apparently she's a part of BC Sol or something, and then they announce that they're going to challenge another legend (Lui) Next episode is going to be a battle royal with all the Bladers and Bell and Lui will reunite! Just like Pokemon Unite! Overall: 6/10 wasn't the best episode but we got some good information for later in the season.
