Beyblade Burst DB Anime and Manga discussion
I applaud the decision to have an anti-hero headlining season 6... But I will feel I got a bait-and-switch if the plot is still "wunderkind rookie challenges all the veterans."

Considering how much more mediocre the plot's been getting post-Chozetsu, yeah.
It would be a wasted opportunity. There’s so much you can do with a byronic hero. It would be interesting if the demon kid were Valt’s prodigal son, the bad seed from a good family. He could be a good kid that was successfully poached by Hell/The Snake Pit, and the story follows his attempt to escape. The irony would be that he has to increase his darkness in order to return to the light, causing him to question goal of leaving. There are so many ways you could write this, and I have faith in Hiro Morita’s skills as a storyteller… I just wonder how much of this is cuffed by sales and marketing.
SO Bell is evil. This just made my day
Like how everyone is just assuming bell is evil. (Wait, if he is then could I have some evidence).

Well it's more of a theory, since his description heavily implies a villan. "Although the protagonist of the top is passionate and fighting for justice every season, this time the protagonist is finally a "devil"! The new spinning top glowing in the dark will wipe out all...!" Is what I heard the description is. Could be slightly off.
Bell sounds more like a S1 Lui tbh. Don't you guys agree?

Well that doesn’t make the character inherently evil. We’ve seen characters that are reincarnations of similar demon characters but aren’t evil themselves. I would just leave it as he just has the soul of a demon and that’s it nothing more or nothing less. The part about glowing in the dark is actually able to be interpreted in two ways as well (one being the popular theory and the other being the theory that it’s actually just a bey with dark origins but is put to use for good). Wipe out all is standard Beyblade stuff.
S6 teaser is in the Corocoro. Kids are going thorugh a hunted house but get scared away. 2 people make it through and see Bell with a cape and he says: "I am the king of the demon world Daikokuten Bell! Now's the beginning of the Demon King Legend!"
Text at the bottom says Beyblade Burst, a new chapter (next season) begins next issue!

Good I hope he truly is a demon king. Would instantly set this season off to a good start.

Interesting.
Oh yeah, Bell just has a cape on, kind of hard to see in the teaser though. He doesn't have a hoodie, that thing near his neck was just the pointy cape neck parts Dracula style. Also the bey is actually different. In the teaser the gold metal part is like a ring and is connected to the chip, in the manga it's just like a ring, same color be disconnected.

Ahh I knew it. The teaser was for Valkyrie then? Either that, or this bey can change parts.

No that's CERTAINTLY not Valkyrie, but for some reason it's just different. Maybe the teaser was a redesign, or a special version of the bey with the chip connected to the metal ring.
Like not very different just slightly in concern to the chip being connected to the ring in the teaser and not in the manga.

Oh ok then, that was embarrassing lmao. Maybe it’s some illustration error?

Lol it's fine. Anyways it might just be an illustration error or they changed designs at the last minute or something not entirely sure.
Oh yeah, the inside of Bell's cap is red and striped but the outside is black.

MFB has beys that can level mountains, create natural disasters, and destroy the world with their otherworldly and unrealistic movement based on their bladers. In Burst, movements are more controlled based off of launch path, and the power scaling has been brought down so every battle takes place in a stadium.

Don't forget, BeyMoses used a Beyblade to part the Red Sea
