Hello Perth Bladers!

After a short break, we are back - and this time thanks to the kind assistance of Beyond Odyssey Games and Hobby in Balcatta we are going to be indoors!

This is again a Burst Standard tournament. Please read through the rulebook (linked to the right), keep in mind the compatibility rules and run through Deck Format (especially as a parent, maybe practice this with your kids so they're ready!)
We will again be playing 1on1 First Round and Deck Format Finals to keep things running at a brisk pace.

Come on out, have a good time Blading, and establish yourself or rank up on the WBO's Global BeyRank system!

As this is a WBO Tournament, you will need to sign up for an account and join the tournament on site - make sure you remember your username as well as reading the WBO Rulebook for Burst Standard Format! We have a 24 Participant Cap, so get in early to make sure you don't miss out! And a reminder - this is an all-ages tournament, so even us adults can Let It Rip!

1st Prize: $25 Visa Gift Card

Depending on attendance we'll be playing for a few hours (possibly 5 or 6 depending how things go) so please bring water and/or snacks! Please remember to respect the venue - they've been kind enough to give us walls and a roof in the winter and I'd like to make this our regular haunt!

Please ensure you arrive at the venue prior to 11:30AM for check-in and announcements.

Need-to-Know Information

1. During Registration, Open Your Account Page

Open your account page on your mobile device (if possible) during registration to help us keep things quick.

2. Arrive On Time

You must arrive by the tournament start time to enter. We cannot add new players to an event once it begins. If you're running late, contact the host.

3. Stay Aware of Your Belongings

We do everything possible to ensure a safe environment, but can't be held responsible for lost or stolen goods. Keep your gear close by!

4. The Tournament Will Last At Least a Few Hours

This event is likely to last at least a few hours. If you can't commit to the entire tournament, you're welcome to come watch and play for fun instead!

5. Listen For Your Username To Be Called

Your name will be called when it's time for your next battle. If you need to leave early or take a break, tell a judge. Missing a match could mean disqualification!

6. Players Must Meet Regional Product Age Restrictions

All players in this event must meet the age restrictions on Beyblade products in their region. TAKARA-TOMY recommends Beyblade for ages 6+. Hasbro recommends Beyblade for ages 8+. Players under these ages may only participate with the permission of their parent/guardian.

7. Players Under 18 Must Be Accompanied by a Parent/Guardian

If you are under 18 years old, a parent/guardian must accompany you and be present for the duration of the event.

8. Contests, Raffles, Gambling, Betting, and Selling Are Prohibited

Advertising the sale of any product or service, as well as posting about any contest, raffle, gambling, or betting on this event page and conducting them at the event without approval by Fighting Spirits Inc. staff is prohibited. Please contact the Organized Play team if you require approval.

Can I come to steal that Giftcard? Nice, Th!nk. I don't think I've seen you host yet. I hope everything goes alright and as planned. With Xiphoid out now, I'm excited to see what the Winning Combos will be. Have fun everybody.

I hosted a few months ago and we had a great time! Winning combos were pretty cool, they're Here.

Thank you for the kind words Smile

Can any generation of Beyblade burst be used in this tournament
(Aug. 16, 2022  1:49 PM)Hidaka Wrote: Can any generation of Beyblade burst be used in this tournament

This is a burst tournament which means only burst beys are allowed
(Aug. 16, 2022  1:49 PM)Hidaka Wrote: Can any generation of Beyblade burst be used in this tournament

Yes. This event is Burst Standard Format meaning any generation of Beyblade Burst is perfectly fine to use.

The formats with restrictions on generation are Classic, Limited and GT. Standard, whether it is ranked or not, does not have any restriction on part usage or generation restrictions (save for cases where an organizer may want to experiment with certain bans? But that isn't all too common).
Also if my launcher is acting up or breaks will I be allowed to borrow a launcher until the tournament ends

at the last tournament they had a spare or two for people in case I think, also everyone is usually very nice so if it does you will probably be able to borrow someone's if they have a spare or something

same I'm excited for this tournament
Feeling pretty good about this one myself tbh. We may be running two stadiums depending on numbers, I'm hoping to get a couple more people in before Saturday. Gonna be nice to have somewhere warm and out of the weather.
How long with this tournament be like how many hours just curious

Last one was 5 or thereabouts. Less this time is the goal, given I don't want to keep staff back. Depends if everyone comes or if more people come tho. If even 1 person doesn't show up, we will actually have to play more matches. But assuming everyone gets to the stadium on time we should be fine Smile

No stress, we'll see ya next time!
I hope you all had great fun at the tournament and battled fairly
Thank you everyone so much for coming! Those of you who signed up and didn't show without letting me know, please don't do that again, I had to do a whole new bracket on the spot and it was a lil stressful to do while checking everyone in, and I waited extra time for you to show up just in case - just PM me or message me on FB or whatever in future! Thanks Hidaka and ByronI for letting me know in advance, and thanks Lennon for getting the courage up to blade with us again - you're a champ in the making mate!

Amazing blading from all, when I get time I'll write up a tournament report properly for this one.
Thank you all for your patience as we dealt with our FIVE WAY TIE for second in finals, y'all are too evenly matched - and way too good, this was a real tough one. Devo I still couldn't beat Jack77 in our rematch ;_;
