Please be advised that this tournament will make use of the following Optional Rules in addition to, or in place of, rules listed in Rulebook:

Own Finish:

When you score an Xtreme finish or over finish against a Bey that did not touch your Bey during the battle, it is considered an own finish instead.

When you score an own finish, you receive 1 point. Then, the battle is replayed.

First Stage Points:

First Stage Matches are played to 5 points for this Tournament.

Out-of-Bounds ruled as Over Finish:

Any Beyblade that goes out-of-bounds in this Tournament will be considered knocked-out instead. If a Beyblade is knocked-out in this manner, it will count as an Over Finish.

Loser selects position after battle:

After each battle within a set, the loser of the previous battle chooses their launch position.
In a WBO Deck Match, this does not apply if the next battle is a Replay.

Tournament Check-In

Please try to arrive at least 15 minutes early so we can get everyone checked in! If you’re running late please DM me and let me know! We will start pre-tournament announcements at 11:30am and jump into the first matches right after that!

Stadium: Takara Tomy

First Stage: 3on3 Format - 5 rounds of Swiss

Finals Stage: Deck Format - First to 7 points - Single Elimination

(Update 1/22/25)The Metal Needle Bit is now ‘default banned’ in the X Format Rules and (still) cannot be used for this tournament.

Staff/Judges/Stadiums

Please comment below or send me a DM if you can assist with Judging and/or provide a TT Stadium for tournament play! I’d like to have a minimum of at least 4-5 total Judges and 4 Stadiums to make sure things operate on time and would be extremely grateful for any help in those departments!

Other Notes

I know the start time is a bit earlier than normal but the Library closes at 4pm! This has also influenced my decision to make First Stage 3on3 because the matches proceed faster than Deck Format. They’re still fun and competitive and offer a different flavor of deck building and overall strategy. Playing to 5 points also offers more opportunities for reshuffling and mind games!
