Personally, I'm really excited.

Snyder and Nolan are on board so it should be good. This supposedly won't be the same Batman we saw in The Dark Knight Trilogy, so it'll be interesting how the character will be adapted to fit into the Sci-Fi world of the Man of Steel.

I think it looks good, but I think it is way to soon for a reboot. DC rushed the Batman reboot I mean it just ended last year. On the other hand Superman looks great!

I'm very hopeful for this new Batman... I HOPE they ditch the gruff, ridiculous Batman voice...

This is all going to depend on where they are going with Batman.

Obviously, no matter who wears the black suit it will probably break every box office record when it is released, I just hope they do not rush into this like they look to be doing.

I agree. Itll be interesting how this works as a Batman reboot, since it's not the Nolan one, no I agree- it is too soon for a new batman, but movies are made for profit, so what can you do?

I also hope Batman doesn't sound so gruff too

I am actually excited about this.

I feel the guy has grown and matured a lot as an actor.
Take a look at how great Argo was.

Obviously they are not going to be doing the whole Dark Knight style Batman everyone has gotten used to over the past few years, so I believe for a Batman that will be in a movie with Superman, Affleck will be able to do a great job.

Eh mixed feelings. I think he has a chance of doing well, depending on script, etc.
But he carped up Daredevil. So it. Makes me nervous.

I don't like him. Batman's voice is his thing! They can't take it away! I hope robin comes back with a kid actor. I want him to be like the one in the comics. I heard its a Batman VS Superman movie.

I know its not going to change a studio corporation's mind, but hey, trying doesn't hurt, right?

I mean, he's a good actor, but he proved in DareDevil he wasn't a suphero actor. Yeah, Argo was great. But it wasn't a superhero film- you can't judge his acting from it. Its like saying George Clooney was a good actor, so he would have made a good Batman. I mean, I trust Snyder, but this casting choice was...odd. I get Bale doesn't want to return, but man, there are other actors than Affleck.

Its like calling up Clooney and asking him to play Batman for the film.
