Happy 8th WBO Anniversary!

On Saturday, January 7th, 2017 there will be a Beyblade event in the Arbutus Public Library Meeting Room in Baltimore, MD. The Library has plenty of free, nearby parking spaces so parking should not be an issue. One of the conditions of using the library as a venue is that we are not allowed to charge fees for participants, so while this means that the tournament is free entry, the purchase or sale of Beyblades or parts at this event is prohibited.

There will be two tournaments: Burst Format and MFB Limited. Although myself and several other Bladers will be able to answer questions at the event, please familiarize yourself with the rules for both formats!
Registration begins at 11:00 AM, with the MFB Limited tournament beginning at noon. The Limited tournament is expected to run until about 1:30 or 2:00 PM, and after it is concluded the Burst tournament will begin. The event is expected to end at around 4:00 PM.

There will be Beyblades and Launchers available to borrow at the event if needed.

Hasbro released a hollow version of 4D (that was called metal fury Spark FX)  which are much lighter and lot differant then normal 4D (for example they can't change modes). Due to there light weight and much less "destructive" performance they are legal to use in LTD

see this for more details yhttp://beyblade.wikia.com/wiki/Spark_FX

well is there a scene at most 2 hours away from here that isn't metal fight limited. Sure, limited may have a more balanced metagame, but beyblade to me has always been to build the best beys and win with them. It's about spending a lot of time and effort getting beys and finding the best possible combos, testing them against other beyblades many times, trying out different launch techniques, battling other bladers, having a good time, and It just feels much more satisfying if you win a set with your own combination that you spent a lot of time and effort on.
you can just build a combo that is legal for limited format
