Balance Blader's Birthday Bash!
London, UK Burst Format Ranked
Tournament Results
1:00PM on 07/28/2018
So it's my birthday on the 27/7, the day before the tournament. So why not celebrate by playing spinning tops? (If you come up against me, you can let me win as a nice present)
Make sure to be there at 12:30PM, however I may push the time back, so we start later...
Time:
The tournament itself will start at 1:00pm, so as a guide, aim to arrive for 12:30pm. The Tube and public transport services are not very reliable, so plan your journey well in advance.
Please note that we cannot predict how long an event will be, as this varies based on the number of competitors and the ongoings throughout the day. In order to stay for the whole event, please be prepared to stick around for at least 2-3 hours.
Location:
Regent's Park. We shall be at the Bandstand as always. Please check this thread on the day for updates or like us on Facebook for any quick location updates.
Directions:
Here is a map of Regent's Park. Click on the tab labelled "Monuments, Fountains and Statues". Head to the area marked Bandstand. We suggest taking the London Underground or Bus to Baker Street.
Prizes:
We might have prizes. We might not. Who knows?
Hosts and Judges:
This tournament is being hosted by Balance Blader. If you have any queries about the event, feel free to PM us or post in the thread and we'll be happy to help!
Important Advice:
Despite being around friends and rivals, please remember we are in a public park. Bad behaviour and swearing will not be tolerated and will result in a ban from future events. Please keep your personal belongings with you or in a safe place while at the bandstand. If you see any personal items left around with no apparent owner, please hand it in to a judge, so we can return it to its rightful owner. Your cooperation is much appreciated.
Remember to turn up on time. If you arrive later than 1:00pm, your place will be forfeit and you will not be able to participate. If you know you'll be late, please let us know via PM or a post in-thread!
Spread the Word!
Are you as excited about the festivities as we are?! If so, be sure to tell your friends about it! And if you haven't already, follow us on Twitter and like us on Facebook!

Hello @[Balance Blader], can you please submit the following for this event as soon as possible:
- Results Spreadsheet with Misspellings Fixed: It looks like there's at least one misspelled name in the spreadsheet you submitted here. On the front page, I believe "Curryboi" should be "Curry boi". This also happens in the other tabs, except Results. I also see some extra notes at the bottom of the Final Scores tab page, which is more of a minor thing but good to get. Everything else seems alright from what I can tell.
- Winning Combinations (post here)
- Funds Collected (please send to donate@worldbeyblade.org with a note indicating which tournament the payment is for).
The submission of the above is overdue as our Organizer's Guide states:
Quote:All tournament fees must be submitted via PayPal to donate@worldbeyblade.org no later than 14 days after a tournament has taken place.
