Anime North 09 @ The Renaissance Hotel
Golden Delicious Room

9 AM - Free Battle and Set Up
10 AM - "Beyblade 101" Workshop
11 AM - Free Battle and Registration for Beyblade War Room
12 PM - Beyblade War Room Tournament

The fire of BeyBattle still burns in the hearts of Bladers everywhere, and they'll all be coming to BEYBLADE WAR ROOM at ANIME NORTH 2009! If you haven't seen it yet, come visit us to learn all about METAL FIGHT BEYBLADE! We'll be hosting an overview and strategy of Beyblade presentation entitled BEYBLADE 101, and then we'll be taking registration for the BEYBLADE WAR ROOM tournament!

No Beyblade? No problem! We have loads of Metal Fight Beyblades with us and you'll be able to draft the parts to form a full Beyblade, then play and trade with other Bladers before the tournament to hone your skills!

So whether you're a veteran Blader looking for the next big competition, or someone new who is simply wondering how the heck a spinning top could be strategic and competitive, stop by! We'd love to see you there!

Were you going to fly or drive through?
Drive....
It's easier to get in driving than on a plane. I imagine a birth certificate would be fine.
Good. Thanks. =) I really hope I can convince my dad to take us.
hey do u have to pay to get in

This question has been answered several times in this thread already.

Because it's irritating for us to have to answer the same question over and over again.

You have to pay to get into the convention, but the event is free.

Honestly, unless you plan on never traveling outside the U.S. you will need a passport eventually. Don't see how paying a bit for this ability should be the deal breaker with your parents, but hey not everyone thinks like I do so...:\
i'm 20 and i don't have a passport Lips_sealed

Damn, I've had a passport since I was two. But then again I wasn't living in Canada, but in Dubai with parents as 'expatriates' where it was needed.
passports should be free to all canadian citizens

You need your birth certificate, and photo ID to cross from the US into Canada if you're driving.

As of June first you'll need a passport though.
passports should be given to you with your SSN

this is dumb and the method to get passports is convoluted as hell

I agree, good thing I have had mine for some time.

By the way I hope this event will be held indoors or something so the rain won't cancell or pospone it (or whatever other kinds or weather you guys get up there).
it will be indoors Grin
Good! Is it Warm in Canada in may? Being a black man...cold weather sucks and I will have no take in it.

Thank god it's not till June. =D
I reserved a hotel room for the AN weekend.

I guess that means I'll definitely be seeing you guys. Grin
Ugh, couldn't convince my dad to take us. I almost couldn't convince to let me meet up with Kai12 even, either. =/ We're just to freakin poor. I guess I'll be waiting till next year after all (will be coming for sure then, though, with my aunt)
BTW, Brad, were you planning on not hosting it in 2010 and setting it ujpfor someone else to host? Or will you still be hosting? I mean, you do have to fly a long way to get to Toronto, and flying is expensive.
I plan to host it in 2010. Smile

You hosting it? That'll be even farther away from me than Toronto.

I can't get my parents to fly/drive/pay for bus fare to Toronto so yeah.

Good, will be there unless something happens. Can't wait. Smile
