10 AM - "Beyblade 101" Workshop
11 AM - Free Battle and Registration for Beyblade War Room
12 PM - Beyblade War Room Tournament

The fire of BeyBattle still burns in the hearts of Bladers everywhere, and they'll all be coming to BEYBLADE WAR ROOM at ANIME NORTH 2009! If you haven't seen it yet, come visit us to learn all about METAL FIGHT BEYBLADE! We'll be hosting an overview and strategy of Beyblade presentation entitled BEYBLADE 101, and then we'll be taking registration for the BEYBLADE WAR ROOM tournament!

No Beyblade? No problem! We have loads of Metal Fight Beyblades with us and you'll be able to draft the parts to form a full Beyblade, then play and trade with other Bladers before the tournament to hone your skills!

So whether you're a veteran Blader looking for the next big competition, or someone new who is simply wondering how the heck a spinning top could be strategic and competitive, stop by! We'd love to see you there!

In need to clarify this....probably again...
Do you need to pay the entrance fee to AN in order to get into the tournament? If so, I'm sure I can't go.

Most likely yes. I can look into it though.

This comes out to approximately 29000 yen, which is less than $300 USD. This doesn't take into account various fees that would be applied when ordering them, but you could simply just remove things from the prize list if that is a problem.

I decided not to put in te Hybrid Wheel Match Set since we don't know its contents yet, and it is quite expensive.
After fees and shipping I definitely couldn't afford all that. I'll see what I can do though.

Yeah, I figured. Just remove things if necessary. My original list only came up to be like 22000 yen and I just added things to get closer to 30000.

From the Hybrid Wheel Match Set Thread:

- Storm Pegasis 105RF
- Dark Wolf DF145FS
- Beylauncher x2 (green, red)
- Beystadium

Basically a Beybattle Try Set 2. The stadium type was not specified yet.
Ah, thanks. I guess I didn't see that earlier.
Is it okay if I come to the beyblade war room to participate.

Of course Smile
Does this fall on Memorial Day weekend? (USA's stupid three-day weekend holiday)

Unhappy Damnit, I was hoping it wasn't. I have to work on Memorial Day...

Take a sick day? The tournament's on Saturday, so go back on Sunday.

I could schedule off no problem. However, I work on commission. Last year, I made about a week's worth of pay in two days because I worked Memorial Day weekend. I also work in a resort community. People like Julie Andrews, Brandon Fraiser, Steven Speilberg, P-diddy, and Jimmy Buffet have houses out here. It's not uncommon to see celebrities walk around in town. Ahmad Rashad came in to buy an air card last year. I remember the first iPod I sold was to a guy who forgot his iPod in NYC and "needed" another one for the weekend.

So yeah, it's go to the War Room or skip out on $300. (+/-) This is why I want another job other than retail.

That is the obvious choice. Tongue_out_wink

Not to mention, AN09 has to have some wild parties...

Unfortunately, I lack the common sense to go and have reached the age where responsibility and obligation to pay my bills compels me.
I have been reading around the site for about a month now and for some reason I JUST heard about this.

This is perfect because I live in Minnesota and by May 23rd I'll have all my MFB stuff. And I top of that I just got my passport since I went to Nigeria (and appearantly you need a passport to get into Canada now if ur from the U.S?). So i'm down for this!
Awesome. See you there!
Do you need a passport to get to Canada now? I've not got one, would bringing your birth certificate work?
I know Canadians need a passport to get into the US now. :\
Welp =/ How do you get one?
(Mar. 15, 2009  7:48 PM)Pichuscute Wrote: Welp, how do you get one? =/

You need to do it now! As it's a process that takes between 2-3 months.
http://travel.state.gov/passport/passport_1738_2.html

EDIT: Well at least for me it took 2-3 months.
I know Canadians need a passport or birth certificate to cross over to the US so I would assume a similar procedure follows. Getting a passport is the safest bet, and it's useful. If I were you I would just get one and save yourself any potential headache.

Note, passports take time to get so get on it immediately!
Ugh, costs money. That pretty much decides this. Unless I can get through with just a birth certificate, I won't be coming. =(
