REGISTRATION & PARTICIPANT CAP: 64 PLAYERS

Participant Cap
While everyone will be welcome to spectate and participate in free play, there will be a participant cap of 64 Players on this tournament due to limited space, time, and staff.

How to Register
To confirm your spot in the event: Additional Registration Guidelines
  • Be Early Rather Than Late: If NORTH ’22 was any indication, lines can go on for quite a while. Do your best to prepare ahead of time to get into the convention with time to spare. Either through mail-in passes (via Anime North’s website) or simply arriving well in advance.
  • Day-Of Check-In Required: All players will be required to check-in with our tournament staff at the entrance of our booth in Hall B of the Toronto Congress Centre before the tournament start time.
  • Late Arrivals: If you arrive after 5:45PM, you will not be able to enter the tournament (but are welcome to participate in free play).
  • Have Your WBO Account Open On Your Phone: During check-in, be sure to have your WBO account page open on your phone so we can verify your username quickly.
  • Posting/PMing Will Not Secure Spot: Posting in this thread or private messaging the host will not confirm a spot in the tournament. You must follow the instructions above.
  • Day-Of Registration: Registration on the day of the event for people who don’t confirm a spot beforehand will be possible if spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Signed up and can't make it? Let us know: If you end up not being able to make it to the event, please post here to notify the host so we can open up a spot for someone else. Players who sign up on this page and do not show up at the tournament without any notice may be warned in accordance with our Community Rules. Thanks for your understanding!

LEGAL BEYBLADES (BURST STANDARD)

This is a BURST STANDARD (BST) Format event using a SUDDEN DEATH MATCH TYPE. Please refer to the rulebook link below to review legal equipment you can bring:

MATCH TYPE: SUDDEN DEATH

The concept behind this Match Type is simple. We will be playing in the Burst DB Stadium pictured below.

Win Conditions are the following: Out-spins are One (1) Point, Bursts and KOs are Three (3) Points.

First Stage – 1on1, First Blader to Score One (1) Point Wins
Every match counts, and you only get one shot to prove yourself in the First Stage. Any of the above Win Conditions being met makes the difference.

Final Stage – WBO Deck, First Blader to Score Three (3) Points Wins
In the Final Stage things get a bit trickier. We will be using WBO Deck Format with unique point scoring. You only need 1 KO or 1 Burst to win outright. If you want to win via out-spin, though, you'll need to do that three whole times. Use the DB Stadium and your combos to your advantage.

I would like to make a small post to highlight a shift in focus from what was initially presented for BEYBLADE NORTH 2023.

BEYBLADE NORTH 2023 will now have three back-to-back days of Burst Standard related tournaments, with just a sprinkle of MFL mixed in.

This change in focus will allow for us to come together to celebrate all that Beyblade Burst has achieved and culminated into since 2015 and look forward to what may come next.
Isn't there school on this day???
Only if you have night school

Registration: 5:15PM–5:45PM

 Tournament Start: 6:00PM
ohhh I should've looked at the time for that, I could probably come then!
