ABOUT BEYBLADE NORTH 2018

Beyblade North 2018 brings giveaways and high-speed battles for players of all ages and skill levels! Compete in our tournaments or play free battles just for fun at Anime North 2018 on May 25th for this Metal Fight Limited Format event and on May 26th for our Burst Format event. Even if you’re new to the game, our expert bladers will give you hands-on training and equipment to battle with.

To play in our events, you will need to purchase a single day or weekend pass for Anime North, which also grants you access to the rest of the convention. Purchase tickets here before they sell out! Weekend passes in particular routinely sell out before the convention.

If you have any questions about our event itself, please feel free to post them here! Otherwise, for more information about Anime North 2018 in general, please visit their website.

Thanks, Zankye!

SIDE NOTES

Have your Account page open during registration. Participants being registered to the tournament must login to their accounts on any device able to access the profile page prior to registration in order to prove they are the account owner and to ensure their username is accurately transcribed. Alternatively, you can bring a printed copy of your account page to show the tournament host during registration.

No Bey? No prob!
: Don't have any Beyblades? No problem! We would be happy to lend a Beyblade and launcher to you to use at each of your matches!

Please be aware of your belongings: We'd advise users to please, please look after your stuff. While yes this is a Beyblade tournament and we're not suggesting that any of us would attempt to take each other's stuff it is still happening at a public venue where other people (who may not be so friendly) are going to be present as well. Of course, if you see a personal belonging lying around bring it up any of the judges so we can return it to the right person. Your co-operation is appreciated!

All players must arrive on-time: If you do not arrive at the scheduled start time, you risk being excluded from the tournament. The software we use to run our events–Challonge–does not allow us to add in extra participants once the tournament has started.

If you know in advance that you will be late, please post in this thread or contact someone at the event and depending on the circumstances we can perhaps still include you if we know you will arrive soon.

All questions for this tournament may be asked in this thread!

Need-to-Know Information

1. During Registration, Open Your Account Page

Open your account page on your mobile device (if possible) during registration to help us keep things quick.

2. Arrive On Time

You must arrive by the tournament start time to enter. We cannot add new players to an event once it begins. If you're running late, contact the host.

3. Stay Aware of Your Belongings

We do everything possible to ensure a safe environment, but can't be held responsible for lost or stolen goods. Keep your gear close by!

4. The Tournament Will Last At Least a Few Hours

This event is likely to last at least a few hours. If you can't commit to the entire tournament, you're welcome to come watch and play for fun instead!

5. Listen For Your Username To Be Called

Your name will be called when it's time for your next battle. If you need to leave early or take a break, tell a judge. Missing a match could mean disqualification!

That's awesome! I've been waiting for a metal fight tournament for a while. But can anyone point me towards the rules for limited format? I've heard of it, but I don't know the rules that well.

You can find all of our Rules & Resources here. It's linked to from the "More" dropdown in the main menu.

As for Metal Fight Limited Format, here's a direct link to the rulebook: https://docs.google.com/document/d/18nVK...sp=sharing

There's also a link to it in the event details near the top of this page where it lists the format.

My son is 8 years old and he has a friend who is 7 years old who want to participate in the tournament. Can they join? I see the event is for 'all ages' but for some reason, my son says it is for 8 years old and older. Does anyone know?

All ages means all ages. Your son's friend can certainly play! Smile

Hey there, you can view a complete list of parts allowed in our rulebook here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=18nVKBj...t-DeHb_yr8
Ok, i looked and it said that all parts, including synchrome parts and 4d tips are allowed exept for the parts listed, and my combo wasnt listed on the "banned parts" so im good. Thanks

Sorry! I think there was a mistake in the rulebook. Synchrome is actually not allowed for Metal Fight Limited Format, but you can use Chrome/Warrior Wheels with Crystal Wheels.
