The language has nothing to do with it. Different regions use different point systems.

Beyblade has always been pretty dependant on having opposition; otherwise you have to play yourself.

No I mean that even if you went to a ton of tournaments and racked up piles of points, you still would have to get some for the Hasbro beypointer, and no one really plays it in your area.

Yeah, I don't see the point in using it because you can't do anything with the points here, and as a truly competitive ranking system it is pretty bad.

And also, I don't see how Hasbro can "make" a english WBBA to give prizes for points as people can just buy a few pointers and enter the passwords and transfer them.

Bey Brad, do you know why Bey-Ta 1 arcades always have a free rental Pegasis 105F lying there?

In Japan, people normally won't do things like buying multiple pointers just to get hold of the prizes, at least not the children below 12 there. Their culture and lifestyle are very different from certain parts of the globe and they are very strict about manners and morals.

Then why did Takara-Tomy have to post a notice saying they would ban players found using hacked or unfairly accumulated BeyPointers?

The reason this isn't a big issue is that it seriously takes forever to cheat points; it's easier to just go play the arcade game, enter passwords and compete in tournaments.

This is truly irrelevant to this conversation. However, we have done demos at hundreds and hundreds of stores.
