Registration & Participant Limit (24)

Registration Details
  • Registration begins at 11:00AM.
  • Registration ends at 12:00PM. We will begin the tournament shortly thereafter.
  • See more details under "Need-to-Know Information" below.
Participant Cap Details
  • This tournament has a maximum participant limit of 24 players.
  • If you are certain you can make it, please hit the blue JOIN TOURNAMENT button at the top of this page to register confirm your spot!
  • Once 24 players have registered, you may not be able to enter the tournament.
  • As such, only users registered on the list at the top of the event page will be guaranteed a spot in the tournament provided they arrive before registration ends.
  • If the participant limit is reached, any additional players may be added to a wait list on the day of the event and will be added into the tournament should any of the users registered online fail to arrive on time.

Location
We'll be playing outside on the grass in front of the High Park Nature Centre. See below:

If you're coming to High Park via the Bloor St W entrance, just follow that road down on the right side and you'll see the large building/shelter on the left hand side before you reach the tennis courts. We will be playing in the area on the grass in front of it. If you have any questions about the location, please post here!

NOTE: Public washrooms can be found just west of the Bloor St W entrance of High Park. There are no public washrooms available at the High Park Nature Centre. Do not knock on their door asking to enter.

Tournament Bracket on Challonge

As always, during the tournament while we cannot give you a set time for when your next match will take place, you are welcome to follow along with the tournament bracket on Challonge. Challonge is the management tool we use to run the event.

No Bey? No Prob!
Don't have any Beyblades from this series? No problem! We would be happy to lend a Beyblade and launcher to you to use for your tournament matches!

Have a BeyStadium? Bring it!
We will be bringing stadiums for this event, but more are always welcome! Any BeyStadium is fine for free play, but BeyStadium Standard Types (pictured below) are particularly appreciated. If you can bring one, please post here to let us know.

Need-to-Know Information

1. During Registration, Open Your Account Page

Open your account page on your mobile device (if possible) during registration to help us keep things quick.

2. Arrive On Time

You must arrive by the tournament start time to enter. We cannot add new players to an event once it begins. If you're running late, contact the host.

3. Stay Aware of Your Belongings

We do everything possible to ensure a safe environment, but can't be held responsible for lost or stolen goods. Keep your gear close by!

4. The Tournament Will Last At Least a Few Hours

This event is likely to last at least a few hours. If you can't commit to the entire tournament, you're welcome to come watch and play for fun instead!

5. Listen For Your Username To Be Called

Your name will be called when it's time for your next battle. If you need to leave early or take a break, tell a judge. Missing a match could mean disqualification!

Can't wait! I'm hyped Grin
I had to miss last year's event so hope to see everyone there!

HEY ALL! If any blader attends FAN EXPO CANADA 2019 on that same day (2019-08-24), PLEASE SEND me a PM !! I will attend with my 6yo son and we would love to do a friendly battle with anyone (however we won't have a stadium, so it will be survival only). We will bring 2 beys and 2 launchers just in case. You may also drop a message in the FB official FanExpo group, I will reply.

I apologize to drop this in this event discussion, however we won't be able to attend. We already got tickets for FanExpo.

If you want to come to a Beyblade tournament you can come to the Unplugged expo event on September 14th called Bey or Die II. The thread should be in the Beyblade tournament section of the site. Grin

Really excited for this, I’ll see everyone there!
Thanks to everyone who came today! It was a tad chilly but then turned warm again. Joyful_3
Congratz to Tyson 34 on hist first ever 1st place win! RIP NewTypes' dream of finally placing 1st. xD

1st Tyson 34
2nd Newtype
3rd henwooja1

On another note, many of the bladers who hit the JOIN button did not show up. This is not acceptable as it was a CAPPED 24 blader event and many bladers who were denied placement were not given that opportunity to join. If you are unable to make it to an event, DO NOT JOIN a capped event. If you need to withdraw, hit the UNJOIN/LEAVE TOURNAMENT button. If something unexpected comes up last minute and you cannot come, send me a PM.

I am giving a warning to the following bladers. If this happens a second time before you actually come to an event you may be banned from participating for a certain amount of time/events. Joyful_3

hmmm, what was the error you had? Perhaps we should post this in the BUGS forum.
*regardless of error, you should have still posted saying that you wanted to unjoin but had an error. Not penalizing you though. ;)

UNJOIN TOURNAMENT button then hit the LEAVE TOURNAMENT button.^_^

If someone can't make it at the last minute will someone be allowed to fill their spot?

Yes. Read the original event post. All details are in there. Joyful_3

Similar to the US just longer winters and construction all put into 4 months. Toronto is mostly buildings and all the parks are close together. I'm lucky to live only an Hour away from these Canada tournaments because if I was anywhere else in the country I wouldn't be able to go. Hey Olschool, maybe We can have poutine as prizes next time xD
Only if it is Montreal Poutine. Anything else called poutine is just fries, the wrong kind of cheese and watered-down gravy. Joyful_3
