Dude, just go back a page and read the answer. Things on the internet don't disappear when you open a new page, which is why the search function is useful. It searches through these old pages and you can get it to find answers to questions that have been asked before, like yours!

Those are identification codes that indicate which production mold each part came from during manufacturing.
No,the molds do not depends on the code.

Ok, thanks, i just read it. Is there a way that you can tell between the molds? On my 2 rings one looks a bit thicker than the other, any other way besides measuring them? These are hasbro rings as well.
If you had really read the Virgo article well you would have figured out how you can differentiate the molds ...
That thicker one is Mold 2.
