Anyone in college?

I recently started my freshman year at the University of Georgia. My major is horticulture.

For those of you who are in college, where do you attend and what major are you in?
I was attending for business, but only because I was pressured into it... If I still keep my GPA up to have the scholarship I have, then I'll go for film making like all of my friends said to do since I actually like it.
I am attending for electrical and electronics engineering(Sophomore) at Bilkent University in Turkey and I have 12 lab hours today Pinching_eyes where it will begin in half an hour...
Second year physics at National University of Singapore. I'm technically an exchange student there currently.
Was studying Art & Design - Graphic Design and Information Technology.

Finished in May and got an A and a B.
I am currently in my second year at the Schulich School of Business at York University (Toronto) obtaining my BBA.
I'm guessing america's perception of University and College are different to us?
I'm in a college called Coleg Glan Hafren (Don't ask me what 'Glan hafren' means, I don't speak welsh), got about 3-4 years to go until Uni yet.
Studying Psychology and Photography, then moving on to Biology when I've completed those two.

America's college is pretty much our College and Univeristy rolled into one. I know this because my cousin goes to Louisiana State Technology College
Well I'm studying at a specialist Art University in England.
Starting my first year in Winter (January). Majoring in Music.
I'm enrolled at my local community college. I don't have a major as what I want to major in isn't offered there, but I'm basically just taking every carp English class that I can.

I want to write for a living. Kind of a gray area to go to school for.

My girlfriend's doing the same thing at UCSD. She's currently taking Greek & Roman Mythology to study every aspect of ancient literature, as well as advanced composition. Passing with flying colors =)

Great idea. Have you heard of FIDM? Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising. They're a California-based private college. Their majors include:
  • Merchandise Marketing
  • Merchandise Product Development
  • Beauty Industry Merchandising & Marketing
  • Apparel Manufacturing Management
  • International Manufacturing & Product Development
  • Interior Design
  • Graphic Design
  • Digital Media
  • Visual Communications
  • Fashion Design
  • Textile Design
  • Jewelry Design
  • Footwear Design
  • Theatre Costume Design
  • Film & TV Costume Design
  • Business Management

Somethin' you may want to consider. Of course, that would mean you'd have to leave Canada and join the United States of Obama.
high school is taking me a while to finish, but i want to study fashion communication, journalism, and french lit

yaay loan induced poverty forever
Im in class as i type
Haven't long got out of Psychology.
College is like "ARGH" sometimes, though our Psych teacher is hilarious when it comes to making us shut up. She writes down a list of things you can't do in the room but in an amusing way XD Example of today:

"This is INDIVIDUAL WORK, so:
No talking, or unnecessary noise, or jokes, or music, or Backchatting [Yes, this is aimed at you Eifion], or reading (After I whinged saying 'But you told us too!' she added 'ON THE BOARD THEN!' to it XD), or phones out, or singing, or Robbie (Person in our class who made a racket and joke about it, she wrote that in it), no anti-canadian jokes, or ageist comments, or calling Canada 'canadia' Paige*, or violence, or hitting people with forks.
By Kiersten.
PS, In the event of emergency, disregard these rules"

I like to call Canada "Canadia" to piss her off since shes Canadian.
Basically I find college is way more relaxed than High school, since they treat you like adults and will often have a laugh and joke with you provided you do your work. So if you plan on going to college, you'd probably end up having a lot more fun there than going back to High school.

Take a joke, please.

And also, it doesn't actually irritate her, she actually laughs and goes "Shhhhh!"
So I don't get how it's offensive.
last year of high school
high school starts later and ends later in norway
starts at age 15/16 and ends at 18/19

i havent really decided on next year yet, my options:
- private business uni, biggest in europe i think, studying to be a real-estate agent. I was 100% set on this 6 months ago, but with all this financial crisis carp i'm having second thoughts. two of my other friends are planning to go there too

- football (soccer) coach/analysist, i'm really tempted to do this, but i cant think of many job oppourtinities if i do =/

- lawyer, well i have had law for two years in high school now, if everything else goes wrong, i still have something to fall back on lol

- army, carp ridiculous, there's a 50% chance i get called into the carp army next year. i mean what the carp is norway gonna protect themselves from? not like they've been in any wars since WW2. lol. i got topscores on the vision/hearing tests too, so i'm kinda worried i'll actually be called in. i dont really want this, at all

- year off, kinda tempting, but atm i consider it my least likely option, i'll see how it goes
