U might think it’s because of the rails. But some balance types can get on rails too. The real reason is release of attack. Many claim beyblade x failed to keep defense good until golem rock, mail knight, and triceratops press came. There were so many releases of defense types that weren’t exactly good. The beyblade making team thought that stamina will struggle more with blade so that’s where all defense gimmicks went. Hopefully defense can still keep alive

My problem more so with defense is the Bits. The low resistance and all. The Blades have been really nice tho! Also personally I like to think the Xtreme rails helped a little bit by redirecting attack types straight to the center where stamina and defense types are!

When beys are spinning as fast as they are in X, hitting hard enough for an instant over or Xtreme finish is easy.

The thing about X is that defense really was bad from the beginning. It genuinely sucked since the only defense bits we had at that time pre Under Needle were bad due to their height and burst resistence. Attack is also not that frequent in decks compared to something like stamina with the term Spamina being created due to X Bladers spamming stamina-only beys. If you are talking about stock attack combos naturally being good its because attack is just simple, its aggressive which is why it is so good.
