How dose the 5 forge disk help burst resistance please?
[Answered] How does the 5 forge disk help burst resistance.
The shape, since parts of it go upwards, it creates Burst resistance.

No, put it in the “I don’t understand how X part does Y” thread.

Okay Thanks.
Because compared to 7 and 10, 5 is light. Heavier Disks increase Burst resistance
What's better: 4 or 5?

Do you mean the other way around?
This depends on the weight of the layer. If the layer is much lighter than the disc, then definitely use a lighter disc. If the weights are pretty similar, because Super Z can be heavier than most discs in certain cases, use a heavier disc. For example, Archer Hercules, Hell Salamander, and Revive Phoenix work better with 0 and 10, as opposed to using a single layer or dual layer with any number disc.

Okay Thanks my most favorite beyblade is Spryzen requiem s3 so is 0 or 5 better for it.

So you want the layer to be heavier or closer to the disc’s weight?
For example, Wyvern on 12 would be better than Wyvern on 0?
Wyvern would probably be better on 12, to be honest. The heavy weight of 0 would cause the disc and driver to keep moving while the layer is kept in place, causing it to burst faster.
Definitely prefer 0. Or 7, if you have that.

Even with 0 paired up with Bearing and Atomic, tW has horrible solo spin time. imagine how bad it is with 12!

I was referring to the original Wyvern, and it was a hypothetical

Well, something more useful in that case would be Knuckle, Gravity, or Heavy since they were made for Single/Dual Layer Beys.

Thanks everyone for helping me out.

Hi, i definitely have to say aH (no level chip) works much better on 7 than 0 cause the latest makes it burst everytime. Literally. I can't understand why, since 0 has more inward weight than 7. Btw, my 0 is the purple one who came with Shadow Amaterios while 7 is from a Hasbro's lS3. 24,09 grams against 22,78. Level chip helps in burst resistance? It adds 0,7 grams to the layer, so maybe...
PS don't know anything about 10 disc, except it's more similar to 7 than 0 with same weight of the latest.

I disagree with the ps. 10's weight has basically been proven to be around the same weight as 0.

Hi! Yes, 0 and 10 are both close or slightly go over to 24 grams but the latest has more outward weight distribution. That's why i said 10 is closer to 7 than 0 in this, except for about 1 gram difference.
Update: i weighed two other 7s, 23,09 and 23,29 grams respectively in addition to another 0 who came with Emperor Forneus (23,94 grams). Both 7s came with Legend Spriggan (not Spryzen).
So you were emphasizing more on OWD rather than weight? Interesting. Also, does this mean 10 is better than 0?

Hmm, nice question. Yes and no, i mean i can't explain to myself why 0 makes my combos burst much more than 7. 0 should help with burst resistance cause its weight is focused inside the disc so it should increase defense skills overall, while 7 relies on its outward weight to increase stamina. 1 gram does make such a big difference? I only find use for 0 in combos with a defense shaped layer (Shadow Amaterios, mainly). It skips one tooth sometimes, doesn't skip at all most of the times. My stationary attack combo wV/0/Et is a disaster, sA/0/Et is very good nonetheless. So i replace 0 with 7, everytime i test wV and things improve a lot. I don't know if a level chip could help by adding its 0,7 grams. I only have one, and i don't feel like i want to risk it in a battle. wV reaches 20,25 grams with a LC, though.
I can't answer at all about 10 disc, i still have to grab a rP. I'd really love to test it, so i'll buy it soon!
I have the feeling you're etching away from 5.
