Why do they call it dash (-) drivers, then slap one of these bad boys (') on the end?

I see. I’ll just answer both. They’re called dash drivers because they have a gold spring that makes the driver tighter than other regular drivers. Why they use a ‘ over a - is beyond me. I feel the ‘ looks better than - though, although I doubt that was the reason they used it over a -.
Because - would look like a downgrade, and they can’t be saying “Xtreme Apostrophe” because that’s not catchy. I really think it was just something for better marketing.
