attack: moves fast
stamina: lasts long
defense: basically stamina and prevents burst
balance: all of them just sometimes more like one type

it wasn't the wrong answer it was an oversimplified answer
So basically here’s the gist
Balance types have no weakness to types(doesn’t mean they can’t be defeated, just easily matched with blades)
Attack Types Can Defeat Stamina
Stamina Types Can Beat Defense
Defense Can Beat Attack.
Attack types can be uncontrollable at times depends on the combo. Or can be controlled, all depends on parts and launching strategy. Usually, an attack driver is rubber or plastic. Rarely Metal, and should usually be flat tips for best attack. And some attack drivers can ware down Ex; Variable and Evolution, and will hit the walls of the stadium(Jet Shoot) and be more uncontrollable. And you can awaken other drivers like Volcanic to overall be a better driver.
Stamina types usually just glide around in the center of the stadium, don’t let the name fool you tho, just because you have lots of stamina doesn’t mean an attack type/ or any other type can’t win a spin finish in battle. EX: Glide Ragnaruk has real golf stamina, but can lose to a stamina finish to EX: Super Hyperion.
Defense types usually go the center of the stadium or roam around freely(similar to attack types, but typically aren’t as fast), and against a stamina type blade, they will usually just have a clashing battle. Ex: Tornado Wyvern can move freely due to the atomic driver, but also can guard middle if needed.
Balance types are balanced, they usually are the beyblades that have mode change gimmicks. For ex: Left and Right spin rotation. Driver modes(Stamina, Attack,Defense) and depending on the Beyblade, they can have more of a dominant trait but still keep the other factors. Ex: Legend Spriggan favorites the attack aspect, but still has the other attributes.
Now For Competetive, People usually pick combos that are heavy hitters and can KO. Or by my knowledge, has a lot of stamina/ Defense but can also deliver blows if needed. Also the type chart isn’t always accurate, as you can beat a defense blade with an attack type. It keeps the game fresh and always balanced. Hope this clears it up for you
