Attention all bladers! This is an experimental, unranked, event.
Lui's Rules will be similar to the YGO tcg's "Pegasus Rules" events.
Each round a six sided die will be rolled (by someone not competing). Each number represents a rule that will be applied to every match in that round.
- 1. The bey that stops spinning first wins. (ring outs apply normally and beys must be launched correctly).
- 2. Knock outs are worth 2 points.
- 3. Bursts are worth 3 points.
- 4. Matches are to 4 points instead of 3.
- 5. A small round sponge will be added to the center of each stadium and reset after each battle.
- 6. You must launch with only your hands (you can use one or both).
Come out and join us for a fun day of beyblade and to test your skills.
We will be under the canopy next to the baseball field. The high school has two large parking lots. Free bottles of water will be available. There is a public restroom less than a block away at the public library. Free hand-warmers will be available. (Please check the weather forecast before the event and prepare accordingly.)
- There are limited tables and seats. I recommend bringing your own chair.
- First Place: 20$ Gift Card to the beyblade website of your choice.
- Second Place: 15$ Gift Card to the beyblade website of your choice.
- Free raffle TBD (most likely a 10$ beyblade website gift card.)

Is it the Bey that stops spinning first or spins the longest that wins?

The one that stops first is the winner. The traditional out-spin win condition is reversed for matches in that round. (you can try to launch slow for the win, dont get knocked out first though)
Jokes aside, this sounds like a really fun experience. Have fun everyone and enjoy the intriguing rulesets!
Top 8 last time top 4 this time
I even hope next one would be Metal Fight.
Sorry Again.

It is possible that we wont roll that rule. It all depends on how the dice fall. Hope you can make it to the next one!

No worries at all. Im actually relived, one less challenge for all of us. Im looking forward to the next epic match we have.
Does the 6 sided die mean we do one of the 6 way games of the tournament,
and one of the different 5 games we can use a launcher, or we use only our hands in all the 6 way games all day?

Great question. If we have a 5 round tournament the die will be rolled 5 times. Each roll only affects the round it was rolled for, the rules do not stack or linger. I am also considering if we should re-roll if we land on a number already played.
Sorry I'm just not use to this kind of rule before.
