that explains alot... no offense... but i guess that also explains variares. it needs to win every bey-argument.
variares: get out of here!
perseus: why should i?!
variares: cause you're out dated!
perseus: FINE! (falls out of stadium)
blader that used perseus: WHAT?!?!?!
I'm sorry this is off-topic, but Sky Prince, that is SO getting sigged.

I knew who Mars was years ago when I was a kid ...

As for the one-word name, I will wait for it to appear in Roman letters on TAKARA-TOMY's site, but besides the Latin word, it might also refer to the fact that "VariAres" is only one part, no Clear Wheel or anything.

I think it's obvious that not every American lives in New York but I can't speak for the other 49 states' curriculum so I only mentioned New York. Most people can put two and two together to assume that mythology would be taught elsewhere as well.
(Jul. 10, 2011  5:43 AM)Deikailo Wrote: Actually, they go over Greek and Roman mythology pretty thoroughly in New York around ages 11-13.

You'd be surprised what kids also learn from video games, anime, manga, and movies.
What?I'm 11,and they learned mythology's by the time their 11 in New York.Basically,I'm pointing this towards 10-6 years old. Then again, they'll call Variares a planet. Also,I learn Greek mythology from Percy Jackson novel's,so you're probably right on that.I wonder if Hasbro Changes Ares to Appollo or Zeus or Poseidon. They'll be silly if they actually change it to Aphrodite.

It's in Roman letters on the box.
Kai-V: True, but the box of L-Drago Destroy didn't say Ldragodestroy.

EDIT: Wait, think I misinterpreted that/forgot that LDD isn't physically a single piece. Still, that would be it's official name, no?

That said, I do agree it's worth waiting til TT's website clarifies it.
I was being sarcastic... I hate the internet because people sometimes misinterpret things. The last part was justifying what you said in your last sentence, basically.
EDIT: How do I get so late?!

Well, obviously,I see no space in the packaging. However,it maybe just be a typo error. If it's correct, then I don't see how TT is going to explain to the kids why Vari Ares got a clear wheel.EDITConfusedORRY KAI-V.

I know, yet I am still waiting for the official website to get updated.

This Beyblade has no Clear Wheel; what are you talking about ?
If it has no C.W,then I suppose, the actuall name for it should be VariAres. No space.Or Variares.

thank you for clarifying captain obvious... we've been calling it VariAres for a while now...
I noticed that there's a tiny hole on the MW on one side while the other side has none on this video . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UqFxD2B3Y...ideo_title
on 2:21.Also,VariAres,like all BBP and LDD uses centifrigual force to change modes.I'm not talking about DGrin 0k!
Uhh, that's not the correct URL.

Try: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UqFxD2B3Ynw&t=2m21s

For future reference: add &t=XmYs to have the video start at X mins and Y seconds.

it's probably orange paint/sticker on the other side of the yellow part... nothing to get "oh wow excited" about....
EDIT: actually. on the underside, i see indentations so it might be additional orange, metalic plastic to make it look like the orange part is moving... good reason to call it a gimmick.
Orange sticker with screw's?Did you watch the vid?

read my edit from my last post
The yellow PC frame have a orange(red) plastic parts on the upper side.

Is there really something called "PC Frame" ? I do not think so, since Vari()Ares is only one whole part. It would make no sense to call something a PC Frame and a Metal Frame since they are not meant to be disassembled.

They really called the "PC frame". check 0:53 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJl1VPXcEYk&t=53s You can see yellow letter. "PC フレーム収納” and ”PC フレーム展開” "PC フレーム" = "PC frame".

I can read Katakana and Hiragana.

It is so weird though, the yellow parts are not even one whole, connected piece, no ?

yeah this yellow parts is 3 piece. I think they don’t have a definition of the PC frame. They're pretty vague.
