It is much more better than how lean beat lui and aiga doe
True but I will say I loved the animation and Lucifers avatar look if I take out the Shu loss I’ll give it a 9/10 but the Shu loss with it I’ll give it a 6/10 or a 7/10

So unless you were oblivious to that; there is no reason to say that this was a illogical battle. According to what the show has already setup it makes sense for shu to loose badly.
Yea no duh you -10iq but the way Spriggan lost was so lame he bursted it by slamming it down if it didn’t worked the first time then how come it worked the last time unless he wasn’t at full power not only that notice how the wall on his bey dropped and he made an expression as if he never even seen that before your telling me he doesn’t know his own beys gimmicks to the fullest or something
he knew it the first time what the gimmick of his bey is; he was trying to burst shu from the first battle and the reason he made that was that he was expecting spriggan to BURST. It did not happen. Second time he used his so called flare to win; the same he used to beat Valt and the others. Regarding that lame burst ; you and I have different opinions; It was a viable strategy which succesfully evaded Spriggans burst lock

How is a hit to the ground able to contradict the no bursting gimmick for Shu he’s had 10 battles with Lean and he had yet to burst it until that last round and he never even used Left spin this episode was dead set on Lean winning which is fine but it was still dumb you have your opinions I have mines buddy

Episode review
Episode start off with the gang eating a shu spaghetti(?) and then lean shows up then challenge shu for a revenge then ( i gonna skip the whole shu training and hyuga and hikaru arguing) then shu vs lean happened the battle is a burst battle like phi vs aiga then lean Destroy shu like a trash for 10 rounds thean lean use limit break the end and burst spriggan lean won then he got burnout and scared if the legends could counter him then the episode ends
IMo the interaction between bladers in this episode is really good and lean beating shu with 0 casualties is very expected i mean the dude literally got a huge power boost within a few episodes he went from being low legends tier to a high legend tier so it's not really a big deal since lean always gains a power boost. ig this is why bringing the legends back is kinda a bad thing since biased fans exist. I would say that the animation is acceptable and nice the next episode is SUPER HYPE WAKIYA IS BACK i guess daina could be on this tournament as well since the manga doesn't have space for it but we'll see
Overall i rate this episode 8.5/10
Yeah no, just to get the minor details out the way, that was the brother's father's spaghetti but besides that, pretty solid review
I'm sorry but they did Shu dirty in this season. His episodes don't get any special animation, and he seems weak and surprised every time... There's no coolness factor that S1/S2 Shu had
This battle deserved much better.
Wow, mans loses one battle and now he's weak. You can obviously how biased the fanbase is. Not saying I like that Shu lost, since I do not, but at least it's a different change of pace.
Lean may possibly get development, because he seemed to be ranting about how he defeated all the strongest players already, so what does he do now?
Now that the barrier is gone, I can reasonably say that the Limit Break The End was a pretty good counter for Spriggan's burst blocker. Maybe there is a bit of a brain back there.
Shu lost one battle, big wup. More interested to see the upcoming tag team tourney, if I got that part right.

Shu isn’t weak, Lain is strong.

LOL THANK YOU, the bias is starting to get outta hand and someone needed to point that out. Valt and Shu are in my top 5 favourite characters but I can understand why they lose. It’s really starting to get a little bit agitating seeing all these people cry over the fact their favourite character lost. What did you think was going to happen?

Because the hit didn’t put any recoil pressure on Spriggan’s counter wings, which are situated in the middle of it’s ring therefore meaning they never got pushed in...
At least Spryzen didn't break.

Yup this too, didn’t some guy buy spoilers and say Valkyrie was gonna break after saving Shu? Feel sorry for that guy.
Who is sad that Lean mopped the floor with shu?
I think Lane's invincibility shield is probably up for the rest of the season. The only ones who are probably going to defeat him are the bros.

Harry is about to become the plot device for Lane’s redemption.

Shouldn’t be hard to find a counter especially with a partner in the tag team league.

Lol I meant that figuratively. I'm saying I don't think he's going to lose to anyone in a direct engagement except the bros.
To be fair this battle isn’t essential, you just need to know what happens after. Heck, they skipped most of it in the manga.
So looks like SHu suffered the biggest lost ever having lost 12-0 against Lane. Eh at least Spriggan didn´t break.
Wakiya is back

Exactly, I agree with you! Why let one loss suddenly define how Shu is, when other strong bladers like Aiga, Free and Lui got defeated by Lean and did not receive the same backlash. Not to mention that Lean uses his evolution Lucifer The End (a more powerful bey than Variant Lucifer) when facing Shu, so it's more understandable.
Shu isn't weak, Lean is just really strong and one loss against the
main antagonist for this season shouldn't be what holds his reputation back. Heck, Shu has lost to Phi before
and has had his Cho-Z Spriggan destroyed in Cho-Z, yet that battle didn't get nearly as much scorn as it did here (it still did, but not to this extent).
Look, I like Shu. He's definitely one of my more favourite characters in the franchise, but it is okay for him to lose sometimes whilst still acknowledging that he's one of the strongest bladers. His loss wasn't even
that bad, because at least his bey didn't get destroyed and he has yet to use his counterclockwise mode against the new Lucifer, so there is still time for him to face against Lean again.
Alright, not much of an episode review, but about the reaction of it.
Yeah, so Shu lost today. I know it sucks, but this is the main antagonist to be fair, not to mention an upgrade meant to be more powerful than the last.
And you know, I don't get when people say Lean has "plot armour", honestly it's not like his wins aren't plausible, he is established to be a very talented blader from the start. It's not like Lean was a total newbie when he's first seen and instantly became talented.
Shu in Season 1 basically won all the time until Lui, where was the people complaining about Shu having plot armour there? Oh that's right, because Shu is the fan favourite he tends to be overlooked. Yes, I know Shu has had many seasons to establish himself as a very talented blader, but remember that in Season 1, he didn't have all those seasons to build up how strong he was. Lane isn't all that different. Both Shu and Lane start their own debut seasons as, not only super talented, but as part of some high rank.
I'm aware that Lean is basically beating a bunch of legendary bladers, and while I don't exactly appreciate them becoming fodder, these bladers are not unbeatable either. At least they were beaten by a purportedly super talented and experienced blader, trained by Shu no less.
Also, Shu never once uses left spin in this match, I'm guessing they're saving that for later since it's clearly the stronger mode.
And before anyone accuses me of being a Shu hater. No. Shu is actually one of my favourite characters, and my favourite rival character. People need to stop calling Shu weak when he loses one battle. Shu is not a god.
